भारत-पाकिस्तान की निगरानी के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय (संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ) पर्यवेक्षकों की नियुक्ति नहीं हुई है। यदि हुई है, तो वह नाकाफी है, या पक्षपातपूर्ण है। मैं यह बात बता देना चाहता हूँ कि यह बहुत ही ऊंचे स्तर की बात है, जिसकी सम्पूर्ण कूटनीति को समझना मेरे बस की बात नहीं है। फिर भी मैं अपने विचार प्रकट कर रहा हूँ, यह जानने के लिए कि सब कुछ जानते हुए भी संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ मूकदर्शक क्यों बना रहता है। तभी तो पाकिस्तान नित-नए झूठ के रंग-बिरंगे बादल उड़ाता रहता है, दुनिया भर में। वह ऐसा हमेशा से ही करता आया है। वह रोज सीजफायर का उल्लंघन करता है, और हमारे रिहायशी इलाकों को अपना निशाना बनाता रहता है, जिसे दुनिया या संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ देख ही नहीं पाता। भारत केवल आतंकी शिविरों को ही अपना निशाना बनाता है, सैनिक व नागरिक क्षेत्रों को नहीं। पाकिस्तान केवल सैनिक व नागरिक क्षेत्रों पर ही हमले करता है। और करेगा भी कहाँ, क्योंकि हमारे देश में आतंकवादी हैं ही नहीं।

एक बात जरूर है कि शिमला समझौते के बाद अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यवेक्षक का प्रश्न ही पैदा नहीं होता। पर यह सवाल भी सच है कि पाकिस्तान ने समझौतों का पालन किया ही कब? जो समझौतों को माने, वह पाकिस्तान ही कैसा? भारत-पाक सीमा पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यवेक्षक रखने का पाक का सुझाव भी साजिश से भरा हुआ लगता है। आजकल के अटैक हाईटेक होते हैं। उन पर सड़क पर दौड़ने वाली यूएनओ की गाड़ी कैसे नजर रख पाएगी। एलओसी बहुत बड़ी है। उस पर एकसाथ नजर रखना आसान काम नहीं है। पाकिस्तान को तो वैसे भी झूठ, दुष्प्रचार व साजिश को रचने में महारत हासिल है। ऐसा वह अनगिनत बार कर चुका है। अतः यह कैसे माना जा सकता है कि वह यूएनओ की टीम का ब्रेनवाश नहीं कर देगा? वह तो उन्हें आतंकवादियों का डर दिखा कर उनसे झूठी रिपोर्टें भी बनवा सकता है। जान बचाने के लिए आदमी क्या काम नहीं कर सकता? आजकल तो आकाशीय उपग्रहों का युग है। एलओसी पर उपग्रहों से क्यों नजर नहीं रखी जाती। उसके लिए तो किसी की अनुमति की आवश्यकता भी नहीं है। उस पर खर्चा भी कम आएगा, और त्रुटि की संभावना भी नहीं होगी। आजकल के उपग्रह तो छत के ऊपर लगी पानी की टंकी को भी स्पष्ट दिखा सकते हैं। क्या वे एलओसी का निरीक्षण नहीं कर पाएंगे?

विकिलीक ने खुलासा किया है कि अमरीका को बालाकोट के आतंकवादी-शिविरों के बारे में बहुत पहले से पता था। जब उसे पता था, तब उसने उनको अपना लक्ष्य क्यों नहीं बनाया? उसने भारत को भी उस बारे में सतर्क करते हुए, उसकी सहायता भी क्यों नहीं की। यह एक विचारणीय विषय है। डेविड हेडली जो मुंबई हमले की योजना का हिस्सा था, उसका पता अमरीका को पहले से ही था, पर उसने बताया नहीं। यह सबको पता है कि अमरीका ने रशिया के खिलाफ पाकिस्तान के आतंकवाद को पोषित भी किया था। जब वर्ड ट्रेड सेंटर पर हमला हुआ, तब अमरीका को समझ आई। देर से आए, दुरस्त आए। जब जागो, तभी सवेरा। परन्तु आतंकवाद के विरुद्ध अमरीका के प्रयास नाकाफी प्रतीत होते हैं। अमरीका ने बच्चे की तरह पाकिस्तान को पाल-पोस कर बड़ा किया है। उससे आतंकवाद भी खुद ही फलता-फूलता गया। अमरीका जैसे चतुर देश की आंख में कोई धूल नहीं झोंक सकता। पाकिस्तान द्वारा उसकी आँखों में धूल झोंकने की बात करना तो एक बहाना मात्र है, सच्चाई कुछ और ही लगती है। हाल ही में पाकिस्तान ने भारत के सैन्य प्रतिष्ठानों पर हमले के लिए एफ-16 विमान का प्रयोग किया, जिसे परमवीर विंग कमांडर अभिनन्दन ने मार गिराया। पाकिस्तान ने ऐसा करके अमेरिका के साथ की हुई संधि को तोड़ा है। लगता नहीं है कि अमरीका उसके खिलाफ कोई सख्त एक्शन लेगा। यह भी हो सकता है कि यदि अमरीका भारत का खुल कर साथ दे, तो चीन पाकिस्तान का खुल कर साथ देगा। गुपचुप तरीके से तो वह अभी भी दे रहा है। चीन को यह समझ लेना चाहिए कि बुराई का साथ देकर उसका कभी भी भला नहीं हो सकता। प्रकृति बहुत बलवान है, और वह बड़ों-२ को झुका देती है। अमरीका कहता है कि भारतीय सेना को अफगानिस्तान में नियुक्त करना चाहिए। यहाँ हाल यह है कि भारत के 40 से अधिक सैनिक पाकिस्तान ने मार दिए, और अमरीका ने उस पर एक भी हवाई हमला नहीं किया। यदि वह ऐसा करता, तब हम मानते कि भारतीय-सैनिकों का वास्तव में वह हित चाहता है, और अफगानिस्तान में भी वह उन्हें सुरक्षित रहने में मदद करेगा। जब अपने देश भारत में ही भारतीय-सैनिक सुरक्षित नहीं हैं, तब अफगानिस्तान में वे कैसे सुरक्षित रह सकते हैं। वहां पर तो आतंकवादियों का खुला बोलबाला है। अगर पाकिस्तान के पास परमाणु बम है, तो भारत के पास भी है। भारत के पास तो वह हवा, जल व स्थल, तीनों जगह पर तैनात है, और अब तो वे परमाणु-पनडुब्बी पर भी तैनात कर दिए गए हैं। चीन पाकिस्तान की मदद केवल अपने स्वार्थपूर्ण हितों के लिए कर रहा है। वह विश्व के हितों को अनदेखा कर रहा है।

कश्मीर से धारा 370 व धारा 35-ए को तुरंत हटा दिया जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि वे आतंकवाद का पोषण करती हैं। सिन्धु जल समझौते को भी रद्द कर देना चाहिए। पाकिस्तान भी कोई समझौता नहीं मानता। केवल अपने हिस्से का पानी रोक देने से ही कुछ विशेष नहीं होने वाला है। यदि इसके बदले में चीन भारत का पानी रोकता है, तो उससे विशेष फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा, क्योंकि भारत एक बहुत बड़ा देश है। परन्तु पाकिस्तान तो लगभग प्यासा ही हो जाएगा। पाकिस्तान के साथ कोई भी मैच नहीं खेलना चाहिए। क्रिकेट विश्वकप से भी पाकिस्तान का बहिष्कार करवा देना चाहिए, क्योंकि वहां पर भारत की सबसे अधिक चलती है, और सबसे अधिक कमाई भी भारत से ही होती है। कश्मीर को सेना के हवाले कर देना चाहिए। देशद्रोहियों के लिए मृत्युदंड का प्रावधान हो। उनके लिए व आतंकवादियों के लिए विशेष फास्ट ट्रेक कोर्ट बनाने चाहिए, ताकि कांधार-अपहरण जैसी घटना दुबारा न घटे। यदि मसूद अजहर को तुरंत फांसी दे दी गई होती, तो उसके चेले-चांटे उसे छुड़वाने के लिए हमारे विमान का अपहरण न करते। यह नियम है कि जख्म का इलाज करते समय उसके आसपास के स्वस्थ भाग भी कुछ न कुछ दुष्प्रभावित हो ही जाते हैं। सेना उच्च कोटि के हेलमेट व बुलेटप्रूफ जेकेट पहन कर कश्मीर में घर-2 की तलाशी जारी रखे। भारत ने पाकिस्तान के आतंकी-शिविरों को ध्वस्त करके दुनिया के भले के लिए महान काम किया है। इसलिए बदले में दुनिया के अन्य देशों को भारत के लिए अत्याधुनिक हथियार व सैनिक मुफ्त में मुहैया करवा देने चाहिए, ताकि भारत यह कार्यवाही उत्तम तरीके से जारी रख सके।

In secretly, it is still supporting Pakistan. China should understand that it could never be good by supporting evil. Nature is very strong, and it bends even the big gamers. The US says that the Indian army should be appointed in Afghanistan. The situation here is that more than 40 soldiers of India were killed by Pakistan, and the United States did not have an air strike on it. If it had done that, then we would have believed that Indian soldiers really under its security, and even in Afghanistan, it would help them stay safe. When Indian soldiers are not safe in their own country, then how can they stay safe in Afghanistan? There the openness of the terrorists is over and above anywhere else. If Pakistan has nuclear bombs, then India also has it. In India, it is stationed at air, water and space, all three places, and now these have been deployed on nuclear submarines also. China is helping Pakistan only for its selfish interests. It is ignoring the interests of the world.

Section 370 and Section 35-A from Kashmir should be removed immediately because these nurture terrorism. The Sindhu Water Treaty should also be canceled. Pakistan also does not accept any agreement. Only by stopping the water of our own part is nothing special. If China inhibits the water of India in return, it will not make any difference because India is a big country. However, Pakistan will be almost thirsty. No mach should be played with Pakistan. Army continues the search of every home in Kashmir by wearing high quality helmets and bulletproof jackets. India has done great work for the good of the world by destroying Pakistan’s terrorist camps. Therefore, in return, other countries of the world should provide state-of-the-art weapons and soldiers for free, so that India can continue this action in a best way.

मैंने उस ई-पुस्तक को पूर्णरूप से निर्मित होने से पहले ही केडीपी किन्डल पर डाल दिया था। नई तैयार लिखित सामग्री को मैं प्रतिदिन उस पर अपडेट कर लिया करता था। मैंने उस पुस्तक को किन्डल अनलिमिटिड में ज्वाइन कराया हुआ था, जिसके अनुसार किन्डल अनलिमिटिड के उपभोक्ता उस पुस्तक को मुफ्त में डाऊनलोड कर सकते थे। इस तरह से, पूर्ण निर्माण होने तक मेरी पुस्तक का कुछ प्रचार स्वयं ही हो गया था। वैसे मेरी किस्मत अच्छी रही जो किसी ने अधूरी पुस्तक की समीक्षा / रिव्यू नहीं डाली, क्योंकि उससे पुस्तक की कमियाँ पाठकों के समक्ष उजागर हो सकती थीं। मेरी पुस्तक को सर्वोत्तम समीक्षा तब मिली, जब वह पूर्ण रूप में पाठकों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत हुई। लैंडिंग पेज / landing page भी मैंने बहुत पहले ही बना दिया था। लैंडिंग पेज एक वेबसाईट / website का वेबपेज / webpage, मुख्यतया होमपेज / homepage होता है, जिसमें पुस्तक के बारे में सम्पूर्ण जानकारी लिखी होती है, तथा उस पुस्तक के ऑनलाइन बुक-स्टोर / online book store का भी लिंक / link दिया होता है। इच्छुक पाठक उस लिंक पर क्लिक करके बुक स्टोर में पहुँचते हैं, और वहां से उस पुस्तक को खरीद लेते हैं। लैंडिंग पेज एक प्रकार से पुस्तक की दुकान ही होती है, और बुक स्टोर का बुक-डिटेल पेज / book detail page एक प्रकार का कैश-काऊंटर होता है। जब भी कभी पुस्तक के लिए एड-केम्पेन (प्रचाराभियान) / ad campaign चलाई जाती थी, तब उसमें लैंडिंग पेज का ही लिंक दिया गया होता था, सीधा बुक-स्टोर का नहीं। वह इसलिए क्योंकि बुक-स्टोर में पुस्तक के बारे में बहुत कम प्रारम्भिक जानकारी होती है, और वह पाठक को पुस्तक खरीदने के लिए अधिक प्रोत्साहित नहीं करता। लैंडिंग पेज में एक प्रकार से सम्पूर्ण पुस्तक ही संक्षिप्त रूप में विद्यमान होती है। मैंने तो सम्पूर्ण वेबसाईट ही पुस्तक के निमित्त कर दी थी। इससे उन पाठकों को भी लाभ मिलता था, जो किसी कारणवश विस्तृत पुस्तक को खरीद नहीं सकते थे, या पढ़ नहीं सकते थे। मैंने गूगल की एड-केम्पेन लगा कर देखी, पर उससे मुझे कोई विशेष लाभ प्रतीत नहीं हुआ। मैं क्वोरा पर प्रश्नों के उत्तर लिखा करता था। उत्तर के अंत में मैं अपनी वेबसाईट का लिंक भी लगा दिया करता था। उससे मेरी वेबसाईट पर ट्रेफिक / traffic तो काफी बढ़ गई थी, पर पुस्तक की खरीद नहीं हो पा रही थी। फेसबुक पर अपनी वेबसाईट के बारे में पोस्ट डाल कर भी बहुत कम ट्रेफिक आ रही थी। मैंने अपने सभी सोशल मीडिया अकाऊंट / social media account पर अपने वेबसाईट का लिंक लगा रखा था। पुस्तक के किन्डल अनलिमिटिड / kindle unlimited में होने की वजह से मुझे 3 महीने में 5 दिनों के लिए मुफ्त पुस्तक के रूप में उस पुस्तक के प्रचार का अवसर मिला हुआ था। उससे लगभग 40 के करीब निःशुल्क पुस्तकें पाठकों के द्वारा डाऊनलोड कर ली जाती थीं। उसके बाद 4-5 सशुल्क पुस्तकें भी बिक जाती थीं। रीडरशिप के अनुसार किण्डल अनलिमिटेड का फंड वितरित होता रहता है। मैंने एक बार किन्डल अनलिमिटिड को बंद कराकर पोथी डॉट कोम / pothi.com पर भी पुस्तक को डाला। निःशुल्क रूप में तो वहां से 2 महीने के अन्दर 15 पुस्तकें उठ गईं, पर सशुल्क रूप में एक भी नहीं। इसी के साथ ही मैंने स्मैशवर्ड / smashword, डी2डी / D2D आदि अन्य ई-बुक साईटों पर भी उस पुस्तक को डाला हुआ था। उनमें से तो एक भी पुस्तक डाऊनलोड / download नहीं हुई। अतः मैंने इन सभी साईटों से पुस्तक को हटा लिया, और उसे किन्डल अनलिमिटिड में पुनः ज्वाइन / join करा दिया। किन्डल अनलिमिटिड में रहते हुए किसी दूसरे प्लेटफोर्म / platform पर पुस्तक को पब्लिश / publish नहीं कर सकते हैं। वास्तव में किन्डल ही ई-पुस्तकों का नेता है, विशेषकर भारत में। भारत में लगभग 70% से अधिक ई-पुस्तकें अमेजन / amazon के किन्डल-स्टोर के माध्यम से ही खरीदी जाती हैं। वैसे भारत में कुल पुस्तकों का केवल लगभग 10% हिस्सा ही ई-पुस्तकों के रूप में पढ़ा जाता है। फेसबुक की एड-केम्पेन से मुझे सर्वाधिक बिक्री मिली। उसमें ग्राहकों को सुविधानुसार लक्षित किया जा सकता है। उदाहरण के लिए, मैं अपने ग्राहकों को योग, ई-बुक लवर, किन्डल ई-रीडर आदि शब्दों तक ही सीमित कर देता था। उसमें स्थान को भी लक्षित किया जा सकता है। मैं अपनी पुस्तक को हिंदीभाषी प्रदेशों व क्षेत्रों तक ही सीमित कर देता था। इसी तरह, मैं 25-45 वर्ष के आयु-वर्ग के लोगों को ही लक्षित करता था। पुरुष व स्त्री दोनों को लक्षित करता था। उसमें एक रुपए से लेकर जितने मर्जी रुपए को खर्च करने का निर्देश दिया जा सकता है। डेबिट कार्ड / क्रेडिट कार्ड का डिटेल मैंने उसमें डाल दिया था। फेसबुक / facebook खुद उससे समयानुसार पैसे निकाल लेता था। उसकी ख़ास बात है की उस एड को किसी के द्वारा देखने पर पैसे नहीं कटते, अपितु तभी कटते हैं, जब कोई उस एड के लिंक पर क्लिक करके लैंडिंग पेज पर पहुँचता है। एक क्लिक लगभग डेढ़ रुपए से लेकर पांच रुपए तक की होती है, डिवाईस / device के अनुसार व अन्य अनेक परिस्थितियों के अनुसार। मोबाईल न्यूजफीड / mobile newsfeed पर संभवतः सबसे महँगी होती है। इसको भी हम सेट / set कर सकते हैं कि किस-2 एप / app (फेसबुक, मेसेंजर या इन्स्टाग्राम) पर कितनी-2 एड दिखानी है। अन्यथा फेसबुक स्वयं ही सर्वोत्तम अनुपात बना कर रखता है। बाद में तो मैंने फेसबुक पेज (बिजनेस परपस / business purpose) भी मुफ्त में बना लिया। उस पर एड डालना और भी आसान हो गया। मैंने अपने वेबसाईट-ब्लॉग / website-blog को अपने फेसबुक पेज के साथ कनेक्ट / connect कर दिया था। उससे जब भी मैं कोई ब्लॉग-पोस्ट अपनी वेबसाईट पर डालता था, तब वह स्वयं ही उसी समय मेरे फेसबुक-पेज पर भी शेयर / share हो जाती थी। फेसबुक पेज पर एक ऑप्शन / option उस पोस्ट को बूस्ट करने के लिए आता था। एक बार मैंने कौतूहलवश उस बूस्ट-बटन / boost button को दबा दिया। कुछ घंटों बाद मुझे अपनी वेबसाईट पर एकदम से बढ़ी हुई ट्रेफिक मिली। उस सम्बंधित पोस्ट को 45 शेयर मिले हुए थे। वह ट्रेफिक फेसबुक से आ रही थी। जब मैंने फेसबुक खोलकर एड-स्टेटस का पता किया, तो वह उस पोस्ट के लिए एक्टिवेटड / activated थी। लगभग 400 रुपए खर्च हो चुके थे। उस पोस्ट को 32 लाईक्स मिल चुके थे, और उसे 15000 लोगों ने (हरियाणा के, अपने आप सेट) देख लिया था। साथ में मेरी 3-4 पुस्तकें भी बिक चुकी थीं। वह तो बड़े घाटे का सौदा लगा, क्योंकि उन पुस्तकों से 70-80 रुपए की ही कमाई हो पाई थी। मैंने तुरंत उस पोस्ट- बूस्ट की एड को बंद करवा दिया। फिर मुझे इंटरनेट से अतिरिक्त जानकारी मिली की एड-केम्पेन पोस्ट-बूस्ट से कहीं अधिक बेहतर व कम खर्चीली होती है। यह भी पता चला कि पुस्तक प्रचार से अधिकांशतः उतनी कमाई नहीं होती है, जितना उस पर खर्चा आता है।

Promotion of a compiled and predefined ebook by me-

I had put that e-book on the KDP platform of Amazon kindle even before it was fully formed. I used to update the new written material on it every day. I had joined that book in Kindle Unlimited, according to which consumers of Kindle Unlimited could download that book for free. In this way, till the complete construction,  my book had got enough exposure. Before my book has been complete, luckily I did not get any review of that incomplete book, because the book’s shortcomings could be exposed to the readers. My book got the best review when it was presented to the readers in full form. I had made the landing page too long ago. The landing page is a website’s webpage, mainly homepage, in which the complete information about the book is written, and also links to the online Book Store of that book are provided there. Interested readers reach the book store by clicking on the link, and buy that book from there. Landing pages are a book shop, and Book Store’s Book-Detail page is a type of cash-counter. Whenever the ad-campaign was run for the book, it was given a link to the landing page tthere, not a direct one to book-store. That’s because book-store has very little initial information about the book, and it does not encourage readers to buy the book more. In a way, the entire book in a landing page is in short form. I had made the entire website just for the sake of the book. It also benefited those readers, who could not buy or read a detailed book for some reason. I looked at Google’s ad-campaign, but it did not seem to be a special advantage to me. I used to write answers to queries on quora. At the end of the reply, I used to link my website too. From that the traffic on my website had increased a lot, but the book was not able to be bought. Posting about my website on Facebook was also very low to attract traffic. I had put a link to my website on all my social media accounts. Because of the book’s kindle unlimited, I had the opportunity to publicize that book in the form of a free book for 5 days in 3 months. Nearly 40 free books were downloaded by the readers. After that 4-5 paid books were also sold. Kindle unlimited fund is distributed according to the readership. I once put the book on Pothi.com by closing the Kindle Unlimited. In the free form, 15 books got up within two months from there, but none in the paid form. At the same time, I had inserted that book on other e-book sites like Smashword, D2D etc. None of books were downloaded from those. So I removed the book from all these sites, and rejoined it in Kindle Unlimited. Self publisher can not publish the book on another platform while being in kindle unlimited. In fact, Kindle is the leader of e-books, especially in India. More than about 70% of e-books in India are purchased through the Amazon Kindle Store. In India, only about 10% of the total books are read as e-books. I got the best sale from Facebook’s ad-campaign. Customers can be targeted according to convenience. For example, I used to limit my clients to the words like Yoga, eBook lover, Kindle e-Reader etc. Location can also be targeted in it. I used to restrict my book to Hindi-speaking states and regions. Similarly, I used to target people aged 25-45 years of age. I targeted both men and women. It can be instructed to spend rupees from one rupee to as much as you like. I had put the details of debit card / credit card in it. Facebook itself withdraw money from time to time. His special thing is that he does not deduct money from anyone watching the ad, but only when he gets to the landing page by clicking the link of that ad. One click ranges from about 1.5 rupees to five rupees, according to the device and many more conditions. Mobile Newsfeed is probably the most expensive. We can also set this to show how much fraction of ad to show on which app (Facebook, Messenger or Instagram). Otherwise Facebook itself maintains the best ratio. Later on, I also created the Facebook Page (Business Purpose) for free. It was even easier to add an ad to it. I had connected my website-blog to my Facebook page. Whenever I used to post a blog-post on my website, it would have been shared on my Facebook page at the same time. An option on the Facebook page came to boost the post. Once upon a time I suppressed that boost-button. After a few hours, I found the tremendous traffic on my website. 45 related shares were received in that respective post. That traffic was coming from Facebook. When I opened Facebook and found the ad-status, it was activated for that post. About 400 rupees had been spent. That post had received 32 likes, and it was seen by 15,000 people (Haryana, the self set). Along with my 3-4 books were also sold. It was a big loss deal, because those books were able to earn only Rs. 70-80. I immediately stopped the post’s Boost. Then I got additional information from the Internet that the ad-campaign is far better and less expensive than Post-Boost. I also came to know that the book promotion is not as much as earning as much as it costs.

किंडल ई-रीडर की विशेषताएं

ऐसी बहुत सी वेबसाईटें हैं, जो प्रचारान्तर्गत पुस्तकों (प्रोमोशनल बुक्स) को सूचिबद्ध करती हैं, तथा पुस्तक-प्रेमियों को निःशुल्क उपलब्ध करवाती हैं (यद्यपि भारत के पुस्तक प्रेमियों के लिए यह सेवा मुझे उपलब्ध नहीं दिखती है)। उन वेबसाईटों के माध्यम से हमें नए जमाने की नई-2 पुस्तकों के बारे में निःशुल्क जानकारी प्राप्त होती रहती है। यदि कोई पुस्तक हमें अच्छी लगे, तो उसे हम विस्तार के साथ भी पढ़ सकते हैं। पूरी पढ़ने के बाद यदि हमें पुस्तक प्रशंसा के योग्य लगे, और यदि हम अन्य लोगों से भी उसके पढ़ने के लिए उसकी सिफारिश करना चाहते हैं, तब हम उसी वेबसाईट पर या पुस्तक-विक्रेता वेबसाईट पर उसका रिव्यू / review भी डाल सकते हैं। जिनके पास किन्डल ई-रीडर / kindle e-reader है, या अन्य कंपनियों के ई-रीडर हैं, उनके लिए तो वे निःशुल्क पुस्तकें किसी वरदान से कम नहीं होतीं। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि ई-रीडर पर कागजी पुस्तक से कहीं अधिक अच्छा पढ़ा जाता है। वे आँखों पर ज़रा भी दुष्प्रभाव नहीं डालते, क्योंकि उनमें मोबाईल फोन की तरह लाईट / रेडिएशन नहीं होती, बल्कि वे बाहर की रौशनी से ही पढ़े जाते हैं, कागजी पुस्तकों की तरह ही। उसमें ई-स्याही (e-ink) होती है, जिसमें कोई रेडिएशन नहीं होती। इसी वजह से उसमें बहुत कम बिजली खर्च होती है। एक बार फुल चार्ज करने के बाद वह एक हफ्ते से लेकर एक महीने तक चल पड़ता है, प्रयोग के अनुसार। उसमें हम अपनी सुविधानुसार अक्षरों को छोटा या बड़ा कर सकते हैं, बहुत लम्बी रेंज तक। यह सुविधा दृष्टिदोष वालों के लिए व बुजुर्ग लोगों के लिए बहुत फायदेमंद साबित होती है। अक्षरों को बड़ा करके उसे रेलगाड़ी या बस में भी आराम से पढ़ा जा सकता है। उसकी एक ख़ास बात होती है कि उसमें सैंकड़ों पुस्तकें भंडारित करके रखी जा सकती हैं, जिससे पुस्तकों का भारी-भरकम बोझ साथ में उठा कर रखने की आवश्यकता समाप्त हो जाती है। क्या पता कि कब किस प्रकार की पुस्तक को पढ़ने का मन कर जाए। कहीं पर भी यदि आदमी को किसी चीज का इन्तजार करते हुए बोरियत व समय की बर्बादी महसूस होने लगे, तो उससे बचने का सर्वोत्तम उपाय ई-रीडर ही है। इसके प्रयोग से मोबाईल फोन की जरूरत से ज्यादा लत भी धीरे-२ छूटने लगती है। लगभग एक बड़े मोबाईल फोन के या औसत टेबलेट के जितने आकार (परन्तु कुछ अधिक वर्गाकार आकृति होती है ई-रीडर की) के ई-रीडर का वजन केवलमात्र 50-75 ग्राम के आसपास प्रतीत होता है, और एक पुराने जमाने के छोटे मोबाईल फोन के वजन जितना लगता है। इसमें कम्प्यूटिंग जगत का सबसे साधारण प्रॉसेसर, सेलेरोन लगा होता है, जिससे यह कभी गर्म भी नहीं होता।इसका मतलब यह है कि ई-रीडर बहुत हल्का होता है। उसकी एक अन्य खासियत यह है कि जो पुस्तक हमने जहां तक पढ़ी हो, उसे दुबारा खोलने पर वह वहीं से शुरू होती है। इसलिए कागजी पुस्तक की तरह निशान लगाने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती। पुस्तक के किसी भी भाग में हम मात्र एक क्लिक से पहुँच सकते हैं। उसके अक्षरों को हम आवश्यकतानुसार हाईलाईट / highlight कर सकते हैं, और उसे उसी जैसे ई-रीडर पर वही ई-पुस्तक पढ़ रहे लोगों के साथ शेयर / share भी कर सकते हैं। उसमें शब्दकोश की सुविधा भी होती है। किसी अंग्रेजी के शब्द को क्लिक करके उसका विस्तृत अर्थ सामने आ जाता है। अतः उसमें कठिन से कठिन अंग्रेजी में पुस्तकों को भी आसानी से पढ़ सकते हैं। उसको पढ़ने के लिए उतने ही प्रकाश की आवश्यकता होती है, जितने प्रकाश की आवश्यकता एक कागजी पुस्तक को पढ़ने के लिए होती है। परन्तु अब नए व तुलनात्मक रूप से महंगे ई-रीडरों में अपनी लाईट भी लगी होती है। उसे हम बाहरी प्रकाश के अनुसार एडजस्ट भी कर सकते हैं। वह लाईट वास्तव में ई-रीडर के अन्दर से नहीं आती, बल्कि स्क्रीन के बाहर, उसके किनारों पर लगे बल्बों से स्क्रीन के ऊपर बाहर से पड़ती रहती है। इसका अर्थ है कि उन ई-रीडरों को हम रात के समय अपने बेडरूम में ही, रूमलाईट को जलाए बिना व अन्य पारिवारिक सदस्यों की नींद खराब किए बिना भी पढ़ सकते हैं। इससे बिजली की भी बचत हो जाती है, क्योंकि उस प्रकार के ई-रीडर में बहुत कम पावर की एलईडी लाईट लगी होती है। एक साधारण ई-रीडर का न्यूनतम मूल्य लगभग 5500 रुपए होता है, वहीँ अपनी लाईट वाले एक आधुनिक ई-रीडर का न्यूनतम मूल्य लगभग 8500 रुपये होता है। दोनों में केवल लाईट का ही अंतर होता है, अन्य कुछ नहीं या बहुत मामूली / अस्पष्ट सा (महंगे वाले में अधिक स्क्रीन रिजोल्यूशन होता है)। किन्डल / kindle के ई-रीडर सबसे सस्ते माने जाते हैं। सनेपडील / snapdeal के माध्यम से न्यूनतम मूल्य पर मिल जाते हैं। जहाँ पर पसंदीदा कागजी पुस्तक को मंगवाने के लिए कई दिन या हफ्ते लग जाते हैं, वहीँ पर ई-रीडर के माध्यम से एक मिनट से भी कम समय में ई-पुस्तक उपलब्ध हो जाती है। कई पुस्तकें तो ई-पुस्तकों के रूप में ही मिलती हैं, क्योंकि उन पुस्तकों के कागजी प्रतिरूप छपे ही नहीं होते हैं। ऐसा इसलिए होता है, क्योंकि या तो पुस्तक नई-2 बाजार में आई होती है, या उसका लेखक विभिन्न बाध्यताओं के कारण उसके कागजी प्रतिरूप को नहीं छपवा पाता। ई-रीडर में इंटरनेट भी चल सकता है। यद्यपि उसमें इंटरनेट चलाना मोबाईल फोन के जितना सुविधाजनक तो नहीं होता, परन्तु फिर भी पुस्तकों को सर्च करने और उन्हें डाऊनलोड करने के लिए काफी होता है। ई-रीडर में वाई-फाई रिसीवर भी लगा होता है, जिससे वह हमारे स्मार्टफोन के वाई-फाई हॉटस्पॉट से उत्सर्जित इंटरनेट डाटा-युक्त सिग्नल को रिसीव कर सकता है, और उससे पुस्तक-हेतु इंटरनेट सर्फ़ कर सकता है। यह ऐसे ही होता है, जैसे हम एक फोन से दूसरे फोन को वाई-फाई से इंटरनेट का सिग्नल भेजते हैं। हम अपने स्मार्टफोन पर भी ई-पुस्तक को डाऊनलोड कर सकते हैं, और फिर दोनों डिवाईसों / उपकरणों को वाई-फाई के माध्यम से सिंक / sync करके, उस ई-पुस्तक को ई-रीडर को भेज सकते हैं। कई बार सिंक होने में कठिनाई आती है, इसलिए उस समय सीधे ही ई-रीडर पर डाऊनलोड करना ठीक रहता है। इससे हम ई-रीडर को दुबारा रिसेट / reset करने से बच जाते हैं। यद्यपि किनडल कंपनी के बाहर से प्राप्त की गईं सशुल्क व  निःशुल्क पीडीएफ पुस्तकें ई-रीडर पर सीधी डाउनलोड नहीं की जा सकतीं, इसलिए उन्हें पहले फोन पर डाउनलोड करना पड़ता है। इसलिए सिंक को पुनः चालू करने के लिए ई-रीडर को रिसेट करना पड़ता है। उससे पहले की डाऊनलोड की हुई पुस्तकें ई-रीडर से गायब हो जाती हैं, हालांकि रिसेटिंग के बाद वे फिर से लाईब्रेरी में प्रतीक रूप में दिख जाती हैं, जिन्हें फिर से डाऊनलोड करना पड़ता है। जो पुस्तकें ई-रीडर वाली कंपनी से नहीं प्राप्त की गई थीं, अपितु कहीं बाहर से हासिल की गई थीं व कनवर्ट करके ई-रीडर को भेजी गई थीं, वे रिसेटिंग के बाद नहीं दिखतीं। इसलिए उन ई-पुस्तकों के पीडीएफ वर्जन को अपने स्मार्ट फोन पर सुरक्षित रखना चाहिए या क्लाउड सर्विस / cloud service (like evernote) पर सुरक्षित रूप से भंडारित करके रखना चाहिए, ताकि बाद में उन्हें फिर से कन्वर्ट करके ई-रीडर को भेजा जा सके और उनकी मूल वेबसाईटों में उन्हें ढूँढने में दिक्कत भी न हो। रिसेटिंग के थोड़े से झंझट से बचने के लिए डाटा केबल के प्रयोग से ई-पुस्तकों को अन्य इलेक्ट्रोनिक स्टोरेज डिवाईसिस से ई-रीडर को भेजा जा सकता है। महंगे ई रीडर में अपना इंटरनेट भी होता है। उससे हम शान्ति के लिए अपना फोन घर पर छोड़कर भी ई रीडर के साथ घूम सकते है।  किन्डल कंपनी पीडीएफ पुस्तक को स्वयं कन्वर्ट करने की सुविधा भी देती है। उसके लिए ई-रीडर में किन्डल सर्विस से जुड़े हुए अपने ईमेल आईडी को एक्टिवेट करने की ऑप्शन होती है। उस ईमेल पते पर उस पीडीएफ बुक को अटेचमेंट के रूप में भेजा जाता है, तथा मेसेज की सब्जेक्ट लाइन में CONVERT लिखा जाता है। फिर वह बुक रीडेबल मोबि फोरमेट में हमारे ई-रीडर पर पहुँच जाती है, जिसे हम फिर डाऊनलोड कर लेते हैं।

ई-रीडर से पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा

ई-रीडरों का भविष्य उज्जवल है। पुस्तकीय कागज़ के लिए पेड़ों का अंधाधुंध कटान हो रहा है, जिससे पर्यावरण को हानि पहुँच रही है, और कागज़-उद्योगों से प्रदूषण भी बढ़ रहा है। यदि कोई व्यक्ति ई-रीडर पर 100 ई-पुस्तकें पढ़ता है, तो इसका अर्थ है कि उसने उन पुस्तकों में प्रयुक्त होने वाले कागज़ को बचाया। हमारे देश के विद्यालयों में कागज़ की बहुत खपत व साथ में बर्बादी भी होती है, क्योंकि कक्षा को उत्तीर्ण करने के बाद अधिकाँश विद्यार्थी अपनी पुस्तकों को रद्दी में बेच देते हैं। वे किताबें सिर्फ एक साल ही पढ़ी गई होती हैं, जिससे वे नई होती हैं। विदेशों की तरह ही, पुस्तकें विद्यालयों के द्वारा उपलब्ध करवाई जानी चाहिए, और कक्षा पूरी करने के बाद विद्यार्थी से वापिस ले ली जानी चाहिए, ताकि वे नए विद्यार्थी को पढ़ने के लिए दी जा सकें। इससे विद्यार्थी पुस्तकों का सम्मान करना भी सीखेंगे। इससे जहां एक ओर कागज़ की बर्बादी रुकेगी, वहीँ पर सर्वशिक्षा अभियान को भी मदद मिलेगी। यदि कागज़ की पूर्ण बचत करनी हो, तो विद्यालयों में भी सभी को ई-रीडर उपलब्ध करवा दिए जाने चाहिए।

ई-रीडर आध्यात्मिक-अध्ययन के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ

ई-पुस्तकों से ज्ञान एकदम से और चारों ओर से बढ़ता है, जो आध्यात्मिक उत्कर्ष / कुण्डलिनी-जागरण के लिए अत्यावश्यक है। अधिकाँश मामलों में आध्यात्मिक रुचि केवल थोड़े से समय के लिए ही उत्पन्न होती है। इसलिए उस रुचि को पूरा करने वाली पुस्तक तुरंत मिलनी चाहिए, जो ई-बुक से ही संभव है। फिर स्थान-2 के आध्यात्मिक आश्रमों, योगाश्रमों या आध्यात्मिक / मनोहर प्रकृतियों के बीच में भौतिक पुस्तकों को उठा कर घूमा भी तो नहीं जा सकता। जब तक कागजी पुस्तक जिज्ञासु व्यक्ति तक पहुंचती है, तब तक उसका शौक या तो ठंडा पड़ गया होता है, या नष्ट हो गया होता है, समय की कमी से या अन्य अनेक कारणों से। इसका ताजा उदाहरण है, इस वेबसाईट व उपरोक्त प्रचाराधीन पुस्तक का नायक, “प्रेमयोगी वज्र”। उसने विभिन्न वेबसाईटों, ई-पुस्तक विक्रेता वेबसाईटों, ई-रीडर व ई-पुस्तकों के माध्यम से तीव्रता से अपने आध्यात्मिक उत्कर्ष को प्राप्त किया।

जापान एक पुस्तक-प्रेमी देश

यह जानकर हैरानी होगी कि जापान जैसे तकनीकप्रधान देश के लोग भी बहुत पुस्तक-प्रेमी होते हैं। वहां पर नई पुस्तक की रिलीज के बाहर उतनी भीड़ लग जाती है, जितनी हमारे देश में नई फ़िल्म की रिलीज के बाहर नहीं लगती। भारत में अन्य विकसित देशों की तुलना में अभी ई-रीडर का चलन बहुत कम है, और अधिकाँश लोग भौतिक / कागजी पुस्तक के ही आश्रित हैं। अच्छी ई-पुस्तकों के बाजार में आने से ई-रीडर के चलन में तेजी आएगी।

सभी लोगों की रुचियाँ भिन्न-२ हैं, इसलिए ज्ञान-विज्ञान को विभिन्न माध्यमों की सहायता से युक्तियुक्त ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए

कई बार क्या होता है कि हम बहुत सी मुश्किलों का सामना करते हुए कागजी पुस्तक / paper book खरीद भी लेते हैं। फिर यदि वह अच्छी न भी लगे, तो भी उसे मजबूरीवश पढ़ना ही पढ़ता है, क्योंकि उसमें बहुत सा पैसा खर्च किया गया होता है, और बेशकीमती कागज़ भी। इसके विपरीत इंटरनेट / internet पर हजारों ई-पुस्तकें पीडीएफ फाईल / pdf file के रूप में निःशुल्क उपलब्ध होती हैं। हम बहुत आसानी से उन पीडीएफ फाईलों को ऑनलाईन या ऑफलाइन फाईल कनवर्टरों / file converters (कैलिबर / caliber आदि) से ई-रीडर पर पढ़ने योग्य (किन्डल के लिए मोबी फाईल / mobi file के रूप में) बना सकते हैं। इस तरह से हम बीसियों पुस्तकों को एकसाथ डाऊनलोड / download कर सकते हैं। उन्हें हम बन्दर-दृष्टि से बीच-२ में व जल्दी-२ से पढ़ सकते हैं। पुस्तकों के जो भाग हमें अच्छे लगें, हम सिर्फ उन्हें ही पढ़ सकते हैं, बाकि के निरर्थक भाग को छोड़कर। यह तरीका खोजी प्रकार के लोगों के लिए बहुत अच्छा रहता है, क्योंकि उन्होंने किसी एक संक्षिप्त विषय के बारे में वर्तमान तक की विश्वभर की सम्पूर्ण जानकारी चाहिए होती है, ताकि वे कुछ उससे अलग व नया कर सके। भौतिक पुस्तकों से हम इतनी शीघ्रता से जानकारी प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते। यदि हम किसी एक विषय से सम्बंधित विश्व की सभी कागजी पुस्तकों को पुस्तकालय आदि में प्राप्त भी कर लें, तो भी उस विषय के बारे में सभी पुस्तकों को पड़ना बहुत दूभर व असंभव सा ही होता है। क्योंकि वैसा करते हुए समय भी बहुत लगेगा, और हमारे शरीर का 5 किलोग्राम वजन भी घट जाएगा। धूल खाने को मिलेगी, वह अलग। साथ में, जल्दबाजी में व सामान्य प्रयोग-क्षरण के तहत भौतिक पुस्तकों को जो नुक्सान होगा, वह भी अलग।  ई-रीडर को तो हम धूप में भी पढ़ सकते हैं, कागजी पुस्तक की तरह ही। यह इसका विशेष गुण है, जो फोन या कम्प्यूटर आदि में नहीं होता है।

कागजी पुस्तक को तो निःशुल्क नहीं बनाया जा सकता, क्योंकि उस पर भौतिक संसाधन खर्च किए गए होते हैं। इसी तरह से, कागजी पुस्तकों के प्रोमोशनल ऑफर / promotional offer भी नहीं दिए जा सकते। इस बात को लेकर भी मुकाबले में ई-पुस्तक ही बाजी मार जाती है। इसकी एक ही कमी है कि इसमें चित्र अच्छे नहीं दिखते, रंग तो दिखते ही नहीं। ई-स्याही केवल श्वेत-श्याम ही दिखा सकती है।इस क्षेत्र में भी इसमें सुधार चल रहा है।

So pdf version of those books needs to be properly stored in the smart phone or cloud service (evernote etc.) so that those could be again sent to e-reader after conversion and also those pdf books need not to be searched again in the source website. Some costly e readers have their own internet. So we can wander with those peacefully leaving our phone at home. Kindle Company also gives the facility to convert the PDF book itself. For that, the e-reader has an option to activate the email id associated with the Kindle Service. That PDF is sent on that activated address as an attachment, and in the subject line of message it is written, CONVERT. Then the book reaches our e-reader in the readable Mobi format, which we then download again. Other than the facility of highlighting the text on e reader, there is also dictionary facility in it. On clicking a word it’s detailed meaning pops up. So it’s easy to read challenging English books in it.
