कुंडलिनी भी एक भूत है~ एक पवित्र भूत

दोस्तो, मैं पिछली पोस्ट में बता रहा था कि भूत क्या होते हैं। कुछ लोगों ने सवाल किया कि अंग्रेजी में इसे घोस्ट शब्द में क्यों ट्रांसलेट किया है, घोस्ट का कोई आध्य्यात्मिक महत्व नहीं। मैंने कहा कि यह गूगल ने ट्रांसलेट किया है, मैंने नहीं। दरअसल हम शब्दों में ज्यादा उलझे रहते हैं, मूल भावना को कम समझने की कोशिश करते हैं। यह एक मनोवैज्ञानिक कमजोरी है। पर उनकी बात भी सही है।जो वास्तविक शाब्दिक अर्थ भूत शब्द का बनता है, वह घोस्ट शब्द का बनता ही नहीं। भूत मन ही है। यही आदमी को डराता है, ताकि आदमी सीधे रास्ते पर चले। भटके हुए मन के विविध रूप ही विविध प्रकार के भूत हैं। किसी के पेट पर आँख है, कोई अनगिनत भुजाओं वाला है, कोई अनगिनत टांगों वाला है आदि। समुद्री जीव भी तो ऐसे ही विविध व आश्चर्यजनक रूपों वाले होते हैं। उनके अंदर भी भटका हुआ मन है। वही अजीब मन ही अजीब किस्म का भूत है, जो अजीब शरीर को ही अपने रहने के लिए चुन पाता है। शरीर के मरने के बाद भी मन नहीं मरता। मन भी आत्मा की तरह ही अमर है। मन मर नहीं सकता, केवल आत्मा में विलीन ही हो सकता है। शरीर के न रहने पर मन अजीब से घने अंधकार का रूप ले लेता है। वह काले कज्जल की तरह घना और चमकीला सा होता है। उसमें उसकी शुरु से लेकर सारी सूचनाएं मनोवैज्ञानिक कोड केे रूप में दर्ज होती हैं। वे इतनी स्पष्ट होती हैं कि यदि कोई अपनी जानपहचान वाले आदमी का भूत देख ले तो तुरंत पहचान जाता है कि वह उसका भूत है। यहाँ तक कि जीव की वेे व्यक्तिगत सूचनाएं उसके भूत में उसके अपने जीवित समय के शरीर से भी ज्यादा स्पष्ट व प्रत्यक्ष होती हैं। दरअसल भूत मन में प्रत्यक्ष की तरह महसूस होता है। दिमाग उससे प्रेरित होकर भूत के रूप के अनुसार चित्र बना लेता है। दिमाग के ट्रिकस सबको पता ही हैं। वह हमें लगता है कि आंखों से दिख रहा है, पर होता वह दिमाग में है। आदमी समझता है कि सिर्फ मरने के बाद ही भूत बनते हैं। दरअसल जिंदा जीव या आदमी भी भूत ही है। भूत का शाब्दिक अर्थ ही “पैदा होया हुआ पदार्थ” है। न तो भगवान पैदा होता है, न ही प्रकृति। दोनों अनादि व अनंत हैं। केवल जीव ही परमात्मा से पैदा होता है, और उसीमें विलीन भी होता है। पैदा भी नहीं होता। असल में यह उसकी परछाई की तरह है। परछाई केवल महसूस होती है। परछाई का अस्तित्व नहीं होता। ऐसा ही भूत भी है। इसलिए जीव ही भूत है। मृत भूत ही लोगों को डरावना लगता है, क्योंकि उसका शरीर नहीं होता। अब यदि कोई आसमान में बिना लकड़ी की आग देख ले, तो वह डरेगा ही कि यह क्या हुआ। 

धर्म के लिए कुछ कट्टरता जरूरी भी है

फिर मैं यह बात भी बता रहा था कि जहाँ अति कट्टरता हानिकारक है, वहीं थोड़ी कट्टरता या थोड़ा हठ धर्म के लिए जरूरी भी है। यदि आप नियमित कुंडलिनी योग करने का हठ नहीं पकड़ोगे, तो कर ही नहीं पाओगे। कभी यह बहाना बनाओगे कि उस दिन आपने इसलिए नहीं किया क्योंकि उस दिन आप विवाह या बारात में गए थे। यदि आप कट्टर होते तो थोड़ी देर के लिए एकांत ढूंढ कर जरूर कुंडलिनी योग करते। कभी आप यह बहाना बनाओगे कि उस दिन मैं शहर गया था जहाँ जगह की कमी थी। यदि आप कट्टर होते तो कुर्सी पर भी कर लेते। कभी यह बहाना बनाओगे कि उस दिन आप देर रात को घर पहुंचे, इसलिए योग नहीं कर पाए। पर यदि आप हठी होते तो चाहे कम समय के लिए करते, पर करते जरूर। कभी आप बहाना बनाओगे कि उस दिन आपने खाना खा लिया था या आप बीमार थे। पर आप हल्के आसन और हल्के प्राणायाम भी कर सकते थे। साथ में, समस्याओं के बीच में भी कुंडलिनी योग करने से तो कुंडलिनी लाभ कई गुना बढ़ जाता है। इस तरह से यदि सकारात्मक कट्टरता न हो, तो बहाने खत्म ही नहीं होते, जिससे आदमी साधना पे अडिग नहीं रह पाता।

अगर पूजा ही सबकुछ होती, तो पूजा करने वालों के साथ दुखदायी घटनाएं न घटित हुआ करतीं

पूजा साधन है, साध्य नहीं। साध्य अद्वैत है। वही ईश्वर है। पूजा से भक्ति बढ़ती है, और भक्ति से अद्वैत। अद्वैत के साथ कुंडलिनी अवश्य रहती है। यह तो सभी जानते हैं कि कुंडलिनी हमेशा मंगल ही करती है। वैसे उसमें अद्वैत का ही अधिकांश योगदान है, जो कुंडलिनी से पैदा होता है। अद्वैत से कुंडलिनी, और कुंडलिनी से अद्वैत, ये दोनों एकदूसरे को बढ़ाते रहते हैं। अद्वैत से आदमी संतुलित और ऊर्जा से भरा रहता है, इससे बुद्धि अच्छे से काम करती है। अद्वैत से विचारों के शोर पर लगाम लगती है, जिससे ऊर्जा की बर्बादी नहीं होती। एकबार मैं किसी लघु जानपहचान वाले के घर एक व्यावसायिक कार्य से उसके द्वारा बुलाने पर गया था। उस घर का एक सदस्य जो मुझे मित्र के जैसा लगता था, वह मुझे अपने साथ ले गया था। वहाँ उसके नवयुवक भाई से तब बात हुई, जब उसने मेरा अभिवादन किया। उसके चेहरे पर मुझे एक विचित्र सा तेज नजर आ रहा था। उसका नाम भी शिव के नाम से जुड़ा था। इसलिए मैंने अनजाने में ही खुशी और मुस्कुराहट के साथ  उसकी तुलना शिव से कर दी। दरअसल स्वभाव भी उसका कुछ वैसा ही था। उससे वह भी मुस्कुराया, और परिवार के अन्य लोग भी। आकर्षक, शर्मीला, मां-बाप का विशेष लाड़ला और मेहनती लड़का था वह। उसके एक या दो दिन बाद वह अपने स्कूल टाईम के मित्र के साथ उसकी एकदम नई खरीदी मोटरसाइकिल पर उत्साह से भरा हुआ कहीं घूमने चला गया। सम्भवतः उसका वह दोस्त बाइक चलाना सीख ही रहा था। रास्ते में वे एक प्रख्यात शिव व स्थानीय देवता के मंदिर में दर्शन के लिए रुके। सम्भवतः नई गाड़ी की पूजा करवाना ही मुख्य उद्देश्य था वहाँ रुकने का। वहां से शहर घूमने निकले तो रास्ते में एक ट्रैक्टर ट्रॉली के पिछले हिस्से से टकरा गए। राइडर तो बच गया, पर पीछे बैठे उस नवयुवक ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया। इससे यह भी पता लगता है कि बच्चों को बचपन में ही साइकिल आदि दोपहिया वाहनों का अच्छा प्रशिक्षण मिलना चाहिए। आम आदमी सोचता है कि बच्चा बड़ा होकर खुद सीख जाएगा, पर कई बार तब तक काफी देर हो चुकी होती है। चोरी छिप के चलाने वाले या सीखने वाले कुछ अन्य किशोरों में भी मैंने ऐसे हादसे देखे हैं। हो सकता है कि मेरे अवचेतन मन पर शिव के भूतों का प्रभाव पड़ा हो, जिससे शिव वाली बात मेरे मुंह से निकली हो। यह भी हो सकता है कि शक्तिशाली अद्वैत साधना से मेरे अवचेतन मन को घटना का पूर्वाभास हो गया हो। हालाँकि उस समय मैं कोई विशेष व नियमित योगसाधना नहीं करता था। मेरा काम करने का तरीका ही ऐसा था कि उससे खुद ही योगसाधना हो जाती थी। उस तरीके का सविस्तार वर्णन पुस्तक “शरीरविज्ञान दर्शन~ एक आधुनिक कुंडलिनी तंत्र” में मिलता है। परिवार वाले हैरान होकर सोचते कि शिवनाम का सहारा होने पर भी वह बड़ा हादसा कैसे हो गया। होता भी, तो जान तो बच ही जाती। फिर यह मानकर संतुष्ट हो जाते कि उसे शिवनाम से मुक्ति मिल गई होगी। अब ये तो किसको पता कि क्या हुआ होगा पर इतना जरूर है कि पूजा लापरवाही को नहीं भर सकती। भौतिक कमियां केवल भौतिक साधनों से ही पूरी की जा सकती है। पूजा से सहयोग तो मिलता है, पर उसकी भी अपनी सीमाएं हैं। मन को बेशक लगे कि ऑल इज वैल, पर लगने और होने में फर्क है। अच्छा लगना और अच्छा होना। फील गुड एण्ड बींग गुड़। हालांकि दोनों आपस में जुड़े हैं, पर एक निश्चित सीमा तक ही। उसके परिवार वाले यह भी कहते कि वह पिछले कुछ समय से अजीब-अजीब सी और अपने स्वयं के बारे में दुनिया से जाने वाली जैसी बातें भी करता था। होनी ही वैसी रही होगी। उसके पिता जो अक्सर बीमार रहते थे, वे भी अपने बेटे के गम में कुछ दिनों के बाद चल बसे। जो कुछ भी हुआ, उससे पगलाए जैसे उसके भाई से मेरी मित्रता टूट जैसी चुकी थी। कुछ डिस्टर्ब जैसा तो वह पहले भी लगा करता था, पर उतना नहीं। कई बार वह यह सोचने लग जाता था कि कहीं उसके भाई को मंदिर में किसी काले तंत्र ने बलि का बकरा न बनाया हो। दुखी मन क्या नहीं सोचता। उसका सदमा मुझे भी काफी लगा और कुछ समय मुझे भी डिप्रेशन की गोलियाँ खानी पड़ीं, जिसको लेने के कुछ अन्य कारण भी थे, हालांकि मेरे स्वनिर्मित अद्वैत दर्शन और उसके अनुसार मेरी काम करने की आदत ने मुझे जल्दी ही संभाल लिया। मुझे महसूस हुआ कि डिप्रेशन की दवाइयां भी अद्वैत ही पैदा करवाती हैं, हालाँकि जबरदस्ती से और कुछ घटिया गुणवत्ता के साथ और स्मरणशक्ति व कार्यदक्षता के ह्रास के साथ। साथ में, शरीर और दिमाग को भी हानि पहुंचाती हैं। जब मूलतः अद्वैत से ही अवसाद दूर होता है, तब क्यों न कुंडलिनी की सहायता ली जाए, क्यों भौतिक दवाइयों की आदत डाली जाए। मैंने  ऐसे सहव्यवसायी भी देखे हैं, जिन्हें इन दवाओं की आदत है। वे कुछकुछ मरीजों, खासकर मानसिक मरीजों की तरह लगते हैं। भगवान करे, ऐसे हादसे किसी के साथ न हों।

अवसाद भूत का छोटा भाई है, जिसे कुंडलिनी ही सर्वोत्तम रीति से भगा सकती है

वैसे तो ईश्वर के सिवाय सभी कुछ भूत है, पर लोकव्यवहार में शरीररहित जीवात्मा को ही भूत माना जाता है। अवसाद की अवस्था भी शरीररहित अवस्था से मिलती जुलती है। इसमें शरीर के विविध सुखों का अनुभव घट जाता है। सम्भवतः यही प्रमुख कारण है कि अवसादग्रस्त व्यक्ति में आत्महत्या करने की प्रवृत्ति ज्यादा होती है। अवसाद में कुंडलिनी योग एक जीवनरक्षक की भूमिका निभा सकता है। अवसादरोधी दवाओं से भी अद्वैत या कुंडलिनी ज्यादा स्पष्ट हो जाती है। मतलब कि अवसादरोधी दवाएं भी कुंडलिनी सिद्धांत से ही काम करती हैं। इसका वैज्ञानिक अन्वेषण होना चाहिये। मुझे लगता है कुण्डलिनी के प्रारंभिक अन्वेषण के लिए इनका इस्तेमाल विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सक की निगरानी में थोड़े समय के लिए किया जा सकता है। मुझे यह भी लगता है कि भांग भी यही काम करती है, इसीलिए योगी साधु इनका समुचित व नियंत्रित सेवन किया करते थे। कुंडलिनी ही शरीर के सभी सुखों का स्रोत या आधार है। इससे मस्तिष्क में भौतिक सुखों को अनुभव कराने वाले रसायन बनने लगते हैं। हम मन के रूप में ही भौतिक सुखों को अनुभव कर सकते हैं, सीधे नहीं। कुंडलिनी उच्च कोटि का संवर्धित और परिष्कृत मन ही तो है। इससे भौतिक वस्तुओं के बिना ही भौतिक सुख जैसा सुख मिलने लगता है। सीधा सा मतलब है कि कुंडलिनी भौतिक सुखों के लिए भौतिक सुविधाओं को बाईपास करने वाला अनूठा तरीका है। मुझे यह कुंडलिनी लाभ एकबार नहीं, अनेक बार मिला है। सबको मिलता है, पर वे इसकी गहराई में नहीं जाते। भारत कभी कुंडलिनी योग प्रधान देश था, तभी तो यह भौतिकवाद के बिना भी सर्वाधिक विकसित होता था।

अद्वैत का सबसे व्यावहारिक तरीका हमेशा अपने को संपूर्ण का हिस्सा मानना है

कोई उसे परमात्मा कहता है, कोई ईश्वर, कोई गॉड और कोई और कुछ। पर व्यावहारिकता में उसे संपूर्ण कम ही लोग मानते हैं। कई लोग मानते हैं, यद्यपि बाहर-बाहर से ही, क्योंकि अगर उनके सामने कोई भूखा या लाचार कुत्ता आ जाए, तो वे उसे गाली दे सकते हैं, या डंडा मार सकते हैं। फिर कैसा सम्पूर्ण का ध्यान या पूजन हुआ, जब उसके एक हिस्से से नफरत कर रहे हैं। इसलिए सबसे अच्छा तरीका यही है कि चाहे कैसी भी परिस्थिति हो, अपने को हमेशा सम्पूर्ण का हिस्सा मानना चाहिए। वह सम्पूर्ण, जिसमें सबकुछ है, जिससे अलग कुछ नहीं है। ध्यान करने की जरूरत भी नहीं, मानना ही काफी है। ध्यान तो अपने काम पर लगाना है। अगर ध्यान सम्पूर्ण पर लग गया, तो काम कैसे होगा। किसी भी परिस्थिति को ठुकराना नहीं, अंधेरा या प्रकाश कुछ भी, क्योंकि वह सम्पूर्ण का हिस्सा होने से उससे अलग नहीं है। एवरीथिंग इज पार्ट ऑफ ए व्होल। ऐसी मान्यता बनी रहने से कुंडलिनी भी मन में बनी रहेगी, और चारों ओर घूमते हुए पूरे शरीर को स्वस्थ रखेगी। यद्यपि इस विश्वास को सीधे चौबीसों घंटे बनाए रखना न तो व्यावहारिक और न ही आसान लगता है, इसलिए इसे अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से प्राप्त करने के लिए एक व्यावहारिक अद्वैत दर्शन और कुंडलिनी योग को अपनाया जाना चाहिए। ऐसी मान्यता बनाए रखने में अद्वैत की लोकप्रिय व व्यावहारिक पुस्तक”शरीरविज्ञान दर्शन~ एक आधुनिक कुंडलिनी तंत्र” ने मेरी बहुत मदद की।

कुंडलिनी भी एक भूत है, एक पवित्र भूत

जब मन ही भूत है, तब कुंडलिनी भी भूत ही सिद्ध हुई, क्योंकि कुंडलिनी भी एक उच्च कोटि का मन ही है। आम भूत का भी भौतिक अस्तित्व नहीं होता, और कुंडलिनी का भी नहीं। आम भूत भी केवल मन की ही उपज होते हैं, और कुंडलिनी भी। पर यह आम भूत से अलग है। जहाँ आम भूत परमात्मा से दूर ले जाते हैं, वहीँ पर कुंडलिनी-भूत परमात्मा की ओर ले जाता है। क्या इसाई धर्म में वर्णित पवित्र भूत या हॉली घोस्ट कुण्डलिनी ही है? इसका निर्णय मैं आपके ऊपर छोड़ता हूँ।

Kundalini is also a ghost~ a holy ghost

Friends, in the previous post I was telling what are bhoot or ghosts. Some people questioned why in English it is translated into the word ghost, ghost has no spiritual significance. I said it was translated by Google, I didn’t. Actually, we are more involved in words, try less to understand the basic feeling. This is a psychological weakness. But they are also right. The actual literal meaning which is derived from the word bhoot (in hindi) can not be derived from the word ghost. The ghost is the mind. It frightens the man, so that the man walks on the straight path. The different forms of the wandering minds are different types of ghosts. Some have eyes on their stomach, some have innumerable arms, some have innumerable legs, etc. Sea creatures are also of such diverse and amazing forms. There is a wandering mind in those too. Their same strange mind is a strange kind of ghost, which is able to choose only a strange body to live in. The mind does not die even after the body dies. Like the soul, the mind is also immortal. The mind cannot die, it can only merge with the soul. When the body is not there, the mind takes the form of a strange darkness. It is thick and shiny like black Kajal or mascara. In it all information of creature from its beginning is recorded in the form of psychological code. They are so obvious that if one sees the ghost of a person he knows, he immediately recognizes that it is his ghost. Even those personal informations of the living entity are more clear and visible in his ghost than in his body of his own living time in past. Actually the ghost feels like a fully exposed person in the mind. The brain gets inspired by it and makes a picture according to the form of the ghost. Brain tricks are amazing, you know very well. It seems to us that it is visible with the eyes, but it happens in the mind only. Man understands that ghosts are formed only after death. Actually a living being or a man is also a ghost. The literal meaning of ghost or bhoot is “born matter” (bhav-being, kta pratyay- in past). Neither God is born, nor is nature. Both are eternal and infinite. Only the soul is born from the Supreme Soul, and also merges in Him. It wasn’t even born. Actually it is like his shadow. The shadow is only felt. Shadow does not exist. So is the ghost. Therefore the soul is a ghost. Only a dead ghost is scary to people, because it does not have a body. Now if anyone sees a fire without wood in the sky, he will be afraid of what happened.

Some fanaticism is also necessary for religion

Then I was also saying that while extreme fanaticism is harmful, a little bigotry or a little stubbornness is also necessary for religion. If you do not persist in doing Kundalini yoga regularly, then you will not be able to do it. Sometimes you will make an excuse that you did not do it that day because you went to the wedding or procession on that day. If you were a fanatic, you would definitely do Kundalini yoga after finding solitude for a while. Sometimes you will pretend that I went to the city that day where there was a shortage of space. If you were a fanatic, you would have done it on a chair too. Sometimes you will make an excuse that that day you reached home late at night, so you could not do yoga. But if you were stubborn, you would have done it for a short time, but definitely did it. Sometimes you will pretend that you had dinner that day or that you were ill. But you could also do light asanas and light pranayama. Also, by doing Kundalini yoga even in the midst of problems, the Kundalini benefits increase manifold. In this way, if there is no positive bigotry, then the excuses do not end, due to which the person cannot stick to the practice.

If worship was everything, then sad things would not have happened to the worshipers

Worship is a means, not an end. The goal is Advaita. That is God. Worship increases Bhakti, and Bhakti leads to Advaita. Kundalini definitely resides with Advaita. It is known to all that Kundalini always does good things. By the way, most of the contribution of Advaita is there, which is born from Kundalini. From Advaita to Kundalini, and from Kundalini to Advaita, these two continue to enhance each other. Due to Advaita man remains balanced and full of energy, due to this the intellect works well. Advaita controls the noise of thoughts, so that there is no wastage of energy. Once I went to the house of a small acquaintance on a business call from him. A member of the household who seemed like a friend to me took me with himself. There I talked to his young brother when he greeted me. I saw a strange look on his face. His name was also associated with the name of Shiva. So I inadvertently compared him to Shiva with joy and smile. In fact, his nature was also the same more or less. He also smiled at this, and so did the other family members. He was an attractive, shy, loving and hardworking boy of his parents. After a day or two, he along with a friend of his school time went for a tour somewhere full of enthusiasm on his brand new bike he had bought. Probably his friend was just learning to ride a bike. On the way, they stopped to visit the temple of a famous Shiva and a local deity. Probably the main purpose of stopping there was getting the new bike worshiped. When they went to roam the city from there, they collided with the back of a tractor trolley on the way. The rider survived, but the young man sitting behind died on the spot. It also shows that children should get good training in two wheelers like cycles etc. at an early age. The common man thinks that the child will grow up and learn on his own, but sometimes it is too late. I have also seen such incidents in some other teenagers who are two Wheeler stealthy or learning. Maybe my subconscious mind was influenced by the ghosts of Shiva, due to which the words of Shiva came out of my mouth. It may also be that my subconscious mind has foreseen the event by powerful non-dual practice. However, at that time I did not do any special and regular yoga practice. My way of working was such that it used to produce effect of practice itself. A detailed description of that method is found in the book “Sharir Vigyan Darshan~ ek adhunik Kundalini Tantra”. The family members wondered how the big accident happened even after Shivnam’s support was there. Even if it had happened, life would have been saved. Then they would be satisfied assuming that he would have got liberation through Shivanaam. Now who knows what would have happened, but it is certain that worship cannot fill carelessness. Physical deficiency can be fulfilled by physical means only. Worship gives support, but it also has its limits. The mind may feel that all is well, but there is a difference between feeling and being. Feel good and being good. Although both are linked, but up to a certain limit. His family members also said that he used to talk strange including his going out of the world on few instances for some time. It would have been like that. His father, who was often ill, also passed away after a few days in the grief of his son. Whatever happened, my friendship with his little bit maddened brother almost ended. Little disturbed he used to appear earlier also, but not that much. Many times he used to think that his brother might have been made a scapegoat by some black tantra in the temple. What does the sad mind not think? I too felt shock and for some time I also had to take depression pills, also having few other reasons to do so, although my self-created Advaita philosophy and my habit of working according to it soon took over. I realized that even depression medicines cause Advaita, albeit by coercion and with some poor quality and loss of memory and work efficiency. In addition, it also harms the body and mind. When depression is basically removed with non-dualism, then why not take the help of Kundalini, why make a habit of physical medicines. I have also seen co-businessmen who are addicted to these drugs. They seem little bit like patients, especially mental patients. God bless, such accidents should not happen to anyone.

Depression is the younger brother of the ghost, which Kundalini can best drive away

Although everything except God is a ghost, but in public practice only the bodyless soul is considered to be a ghost. The state of depression is also similar to the state of bodylessness or death. In this, the experience of various pleasures of the body decreases. Probably this is the main reason why depressed person has more tendency to commit suicide. Kundalini yoga can play the role of a lifesaver in depression. Actually antidepressants also appear curing depression through kundalini principle. It should be scientifically researched to convince the world. I think these can be used for a short time under the supervision of a specialist doctor for preliminary exploration of Kundalini. I also feel that cannabis also does the same thing, that is why Yogi sages used to consume them properly in a controlled way. Kundalini is the source or basis of all the pleasures of the body. This leads to the formation of chemicals in the brain that are formed while experiencing material pleasures. We can experience material pleasures only in the form of the mind, not directly. Kundalini is a cultured and refined mind of a higher order. With this, even without material things, there is happiness like material happiness. Simply means that Kundalini is the unique way to bypass material facilities for material pleasures. I have received this Kundalini benefit not once but many times. Everyone gets it, but they don’t go deep into it. India was once a country dominated by Kundalini Yoga, only that’s why it was then most developed without materialism.

The most practical way of Advaita is to always consider yourself to be part of the whole

Some call him supreme soul, some God, some saviour and some others. But in practicality, it is considered as a whole by very few people. Many believe, albeit from the outside, because if a hungry or helpless dog comes in front of them, they can abuse it, or can hit it with a stick. Then how can the meditation or worship of the whole be done, when one part of it is hated? That’s why the best way is that no matter what the situation is, always consider yourself to be a part of the whole. That whole, in which there is everything, from which nothing is different. There is no need to meditate, it is enough to believe. You have to concentrate on your work. If the focus is on the whole, then how will the work be done? Do not reject any circumstance, dark or light or anything, because nothing is separate from Him by everything being part of a whole. By maintaining such belief, Kundalini will also remain in the mind, and moving around keeping the whole body healthy. Although maintaining this belief directly round the clock appears neither practical nor easy, therefore a tactical non dual philosophy and kundalini yoga must be adopted to get this indirectly. The book “Sharir Vigyan Darshan~ A Modern Kundalini Tantra” having this type of practical and tactical nondual philosophy helped me a lot in maintaining this belief.

Kundalini is also a ghost, the holy ghost

When mind is a ghost, then Kundalini also proved to be a ghost, because Kundalini is also a higher level of mind. The common ghost also does not have a physical existence, and the Kundalini also doesn’t have a physical existence. Common ghosts are the pure products of the mind, and Kundalini is also the same. But kundalini is different from the common ghost only in single aspect. Where ordinary ghosts take one away from the Supreme Soul, the Kundalini-ghost leads to the divine. Does the Holy Ghost described in Christianity mean Kundalini? I leave that decision up to you.

कालरात्रि के चाँद गुरु नानक देव

मित्रो, इस वर्ष के गुरु नानक दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में अपने सिख भाई व पड़ौसी के यहाँ प्रभात-फेरी कथा में जाने का मौका मिला। बड़े प्यार और आदर से निमंत्रण दिया था, इसलिए कुंडलिनी की प्रेरणा से सुबह के चार बजे से पहले ही आंख खुल गई। जैसे ही तैयार होकर कथा में पत्नी के साथ पहुंचा, वैसे ही गुरुद्वारा साहिब से ग्रन्थ साहिब भी पहुंच गए। ऐसा लगा कि जैसे मुझे ही सेवादारी के लिए विशेष निमंत्रण मिला था। बहुत ही भावपूर्ण व रोमांचक दृश्य था। सुबह साढ़े चार बजे से लेकर साढ़े पांच बजे तक मधुर संगीत के साथ शब्द कीर्तन हुआ। अच्छा लगा। यह समय ब्रह्ममुहूर्त के समय के बीचोंबीच था, जो लगभग 4 बजे से 6 बजे तक रहता है। ऐसा लगा कि हम पूरी रातभर कीर्तन कर रहे हों। ऐसा ब्रह्ममुहूर्त की उच्च आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा के कारण ही लगता है। इसीलिए आध्यात्मिक साधना के लिए यही समय सर्वोपरि निश्चित किया गया है। ब्रह्ममुहूर्त में आध्यात्मिक साधना से कुंडलिनी चरम के करीब पहुंच जाती है। मुझे भी कुछ ऐसा ही लगा। कथा-कीर्तन के अंत में हल्का जलपान भी हुआ। आदमी हर पल कुछ न कुछ सीखता है। सिख मतलब सीख। इससे सिद्ध हो जाता है कि यह धर्म अत्याधुनिक और वैज्ञानिक भी है, क्योंकि आजकल सीखने का ही तो युग है। इसी तरह से इसमें सेवादारी का भी बड़ा महत्त्व है। आजकल का उपभोक्तावाद, व्यावसायिक व प्रतिस्पर्धा का युग जनसेवा या पब्लिक सर्विस का ही तो युग है। आत्मसुरक्षा का भाव तो इस धर्म के मूल में है। यह भाव भी आजकल बहुत प्रासंगिक है, क्योंकि हर जगह झूठ-फरेब, और अत्याचार का बोलबाला दिखता है। ब्रह्ममुहूर्त के बारे में सुना तो बहुत था, पर खुद अच्छी तरह से अनुभव नहीं किया था। लोगों को जो इसकी शक्ति का पता नहीं चलता, उसका कारण यही है कि वे ढंग से साधना नहीं करते। शक्ति के पास बुद्धि नहीं होती। बुद्धि आत्मा या विवेक के पास होती है। यदि शक्ति के साथ विवेक-बुद्धि का दिशानिर्देशन है, तभी वह आत्मकल्याण करती है, नहीं तो उससे विध्वंस भी संभव है। उदाहरण के लिए पाकिस्तान को देख सकते हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार पाकिस्तानी सेना निर्दोष व निहत्थी जनता को मारती है। कई बार यह देश कम, और दुष्प्रचार करने वाली मशीन ज्यादा लगता है। बन्दर के हाथ उस्तरा लग जाए, तो अंजाम कुछ भी हो सकता है। शक्ति तो एक धक्का है। यदि मन में पहले से ही कचरा है, तो शक्ति से उसीको धक्का मिलेगा, जिससे वह और ज्यादा फैल जाएगा। इससे तो आदमी ब्रह्ममुहूर्त में जागने से भी तौबा करेगा। यदि मन में कुंडलिनी है, तो विकास का धक्का कुंडलिनी को ही मिलेगा। मेरा जन्म से ही एक हिंदु परिवार से सम्बन्ध रहा है। मेरे दादाजी एक प्रख्यात हिंदु पुरोहित थे। मैंने कई वर्षों तक उनके साथ एक शिष्य की तरह काम किया है। लगता है कि वे अनजाने में ही मेरे गुरु बन गए थे। मुझे तो हिंदु धर्म और सिख धर्म एकजैसे ही लगे। दोनों में धर्मध्वज, ग्रन्थ और गुरु का पूजन या सम्मान समान रूप से किया जाता है। दरअसल, भीतर से सभी धर्म एकसमान हैं, कुछ लोग बाहर-2 से भेद करते हैं। तंत्र के अनुसार, कुंडलिनी ही गुरु है, और गुरु ही कुंडलिनी है। हाँ, क्योंकि सिक्ख धर्म धर्मयौद्धाओं से जुड़ा हुआ है, इसलिए इसमें पारम्परिक हिंदु धर्म की अपेक्षा थोड़ी ज्यादा संक्षिप्तता, व्यावहारिकता और कट्टरता होना स्वाभाविक ही है। पर वह भी कुछ विशेष धर्मों के सामने तो नगण्यतुल्य ही है। हालांकि सिक्ख धर्म बचाव पक्ष को लेकर बना है, आक्रामक पक्ष को लेकर नहीं। यदि कभी आक्रामक हुआ भी है, तो अपने और हिंदु धर्म के बचाव के लिए ही हुआ है, अन्यथा नहीं। मैं यहाँ किसी धर्मविशेष का पक्ष नहीं ले रहा हूँ। हम सभी धर्मों का सम्मान करते हैं। केवल मानवीय सत्य को स्पष्ट कर रहा हूँ। युक्तिपूर्ण विचार व लेखन से सत्य ज्यादा स्पष्ट हो जाता है। कुछ न कुछ कट्टरता तो सभी धर्मों में है। कुछ सकारात्मक कट्टरता तो धर्म के लिए जरूरी भी है, पर यदि वह मानवता और सामाजिकता के दायरे में रहे, तो ज्यादा बेहतर है, जिसके लिए सिक्ख धर्म अक्सर जाना और माना जाता है। मध्ययुग में जिस समय जेहादी आक्रांताओं के कारण भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप अंधेरे में था, उस समय ईश्वर की प्रेरणा से पूर्णिमा के पूर्ण चन्द्रमा की तरह गुरु नानकदेव का अभ्युदय हुआ था, जिसने भयजनित अंधेरे को सुहानी चांदनी में तब्दील कर दिया था।

किसी धार्मिक क्रियाकलाप में प्रकाशमान भगवान के साथ उसका साया अंधेरा भी प्रकट हो सकता है। क्योंकि प्रकाश और अंधकार साथसाथ रहते हैं। अंधेरे को शिव का भूतगण समझकर सम्मानित करना चाहिए, क्योंकि वह शिव के साथ ही आया। चान्द के साथ रात तो होती ही है। उससे डरना नहीं चाहिए। इससे शक्तिशाली अद्वैत पैदा होता है, जो  कुंडलिनी जागरण में सहायक होता है। दरअसल धार्मिक विद्वेष के लिए यही भूत जिम्मेदार होते हैं, शिव नहीं। आपने भी देखा या सुना ही होगा कि अमुक आदमी बहुत ज्यादा धार्मिक बनने के बाद अजीब सा हो गया। कई बार आदमी गलत काम भी कर बैठता है। मेरा एक रिश्तेदार है। वह गाँव के ही अपने एक मित्र के साथ निरन्तर धार्मिक चर्चाएँ करता रहता था। उन दोनों को इकट्ठा देखकर गांव की महिलाएं उनका मजाक उड़ाते हुए आपस में बतियाने लगतीं कि देखो सखियो, अब श्रीमद्भागवत पुराण का कथा-प्रवचन शुरु होने वाला है। कुछ समय बाद मेरे रिश्तेदार के उस मित्र ने अचानक आत्महत्या कर ली, जिससे सभी अचम्भित हो गए, क्योंकि उसमें अवसाद के लक्षण नहीं दिखते थे। अति सर्वत्र वर्जयेत। हो सकता है कि सतही धार्मिकता ने एक पर्दे का काम किया, और उसके अवसाद को ढक कर रखा। उस अपूर्ण धार्मिकता ने उसके मुंह पर नकली मुस्कान पैदा कर दी। हो सकता है कि अगर वह अधूरी आध्यात्मिकता का चोला न पहनता, तो लोग उसके अंदरूनी अवसाद के लिए जिम्मेदार समस्या को जान जाते, और उसे उससे अवगत कराते और उसका हल भी सुझाते। उससे वह घातक कदम न उठाता। तभी तो कहा गया है कि लिटल नॉलेज इज ए डेंजरस थिंग। इसके विपरीत अगर उसने आध्यात्मिकता को पूर्णता के साथ अपनाया होता, तो उसका अवसाद तो मिट ही जाता, साथ में उसे कुंडलिनी जागरण भी प्राप्त हो जाता। धार्मिकता या आध्यात्मिकता की चरमावस्था व पूर्णता तांत्रिक कुंडलिनी योग में ही निहित है। तांत्रिक कुण्डलिनी योग सिर्फ एक नाम या प्रतीक या तरीका है एक मनोवैज्ञानिक तथ्य का। इस आध्यात्मिक व मनोवैज्ञानिक सिद्धांत को धरातल पर उतारने वाले अन्य नाम, प्रतीक या तरीके भी हो सकते हैं। हिंदु ही क्यों, अन्य धर्म भी हो सकते हैं। ऐसा है भी, पर उसे हम समझते नहीं, पहचानते नहीं। जब सभी धर्मों व जीवनव्यवहारों का वैज्ञानिक रूप से गम्भीर अध्ययन किया जाएगा, तभी पूरा पता चल पाएगा। इसलिए जब तक पता नहीं चलता, तब तक हिंदु धर्म के कुंडलिनी योग से काम चला लेना चाहिए। हमें पीने के लिए शुद्ध जल चाहिए, वह जहां मर्जी से आए, या उसका जो मर्जी नाम हो। अध्यात्म की कमी का कुछ हल तंत्र ने तो ढूंढा था। उसने भूतबलि को पंचमकार के एक अंग के रूप में स्वीकार किया। यह गौर करने वाली बात है कि सिक्ख धर्म मे पंचककार होते हैं। ये पाँच चीजें होती हैं, जिनके नाम क अक्षर से शुरु होते हैं, और जिन्हें एक सिक्ख को हमेशा साथ रखना पड़ता है। ये पाँच चीजें हैं, केश, कड़ा, कंघा, कच्छा और कटार। इससे ऐसा लगता है कि उस समय वामपंथी तंत्र का बोलबाला था, जिससे पंचमकार की जगह पँचककार प्रचलन में आया। भूतबलि, मतलब भूत के लिए बलि। इससे भूत संतुष्ट होकर शांत हो जाते हैं। एकबार मुझे कुछ समय के लिए ऊंचे हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में रहने का मौका मिला। वहाँ पर घर-घर में जब देवता बुलाया जाता है, तो उसे पशुबलि भी दी जाती है। पूछने पर वहाँ के स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि वह बलि देवता के लिए नहीं, बल्कि उसके साथ आए वजीर आदि अनुचरों के लिए होती है। देवता का आहार-विहार तो सात्विक होता है। तो वे अनुचर एकप्रकार से शिवगण या भूत ही हुए, और देवता शिव हुए। आजकल भी इसी तर्ज पर बहुत से चतुर लोग दफ्तर के बाबुओं को खुश करके बहुत से काम निकाल लेते हैं, अधिकारी बस देखते ही रह जाते हैं। दरअसल बलिभोग ऊर्जा के भंडार होते हैं। उसमें तमोगुण भी होता है। ऊर्जा और तमोगुण के शरीर में प्रविष्ट होने से जरूरत से ज्यादा बढ़ा हुआ सतोगुण संतुलित हो जाता है, और मन में एक अद्वैत सा छा जाता है। संतुलन जरूरी है। जरूरत से ज्यादा ऊर्जा और तमोगुण से भी काम खराब हो जाता है। अद्वैत भाव को धारण करने के लिए भी शरीर को काफी ऊर्जा की आवश्यकता पड़ती है। अद्वैत भाव पैदा होने से फिर से सतोगुण बढ़ने लगता है। तमोगुण की सहायता से सतोगुण को पैदा करना, वामपंथी शैवों व तांत्रिकों का सम्भवतः यही एक दिव्य फार्मूला है। मूलाधार चक्र तमोगुण का प्रतीक है, और सहस्रार चक्र सतोगुण का प्रतीक है। पहले तमोगुण से कुंडलिनी को मूलाधार पर आने दिया जाता है। फिर तांत्रिक कुंडलिनी योग से उसे सहस्रार तक सीधे ही उठाया जाता है। उससे एकदम से सतोगुण बढ़ जाता है, हालांकि संतुलन या अद्वैत के साथ। कुंडलिनी योग से कुंडलिनी को मन में बना कर रखने के अनगनित लाभों में से गुण-संतुलन का लाभ भी एक है। क्योंकि कुंडलिनी पूरे शरीर में माला के मनके की तरह घूमते हुए तीनों गुणों का संतुलन बना कर रखती है। सारा खेल ऊर्जा या शक्ति का ही है। तभी तो कहते हैं कि शक्ति से ही शिव मिलता है। वैसे ऊर्जा और गुण-संतुलन या अद्वैत को प्राप्त करने के और भी बहुत से सात्विक तरीके हैं, जिनसे अध्यात्म शास्त्र भरे पड़े हैं। ऐसी ही एक आधुनिक पुस्तक है, “शरीरविज्ञान दर्शन~एक आधुनिक कुंडलिनी तंत्र”। भूत तब प्रबल होकर परेशान करते हैं, जब शिव का ध्यान या पूजन ढंग से नहीं किया जाता। जब इसके साथ अद्वैत भाव जुड़ जाता है, तब वे शांत होकर गायब हो जाते हैं। दरअसल वे गायब न होकर प्रकाशमान शिव में ही समा जाते हैं। भूत एक छलावा है। भूत एक साया है। भूत का अपना कोई अस्तित्व नहीं है। भूत मन का भ्रम है, जो दुनिया की मोहमाया से पैदा होता है। इसका मतलब है कि भूत अद्वैतभाव रखना सिखाते हैं। इसलिए वे शिव के अनुचर ही हुए, क्योंकि वे सबको अपने स्वामी शिव की तरह अद्वैतरूप बनाना चाहते हैं। उन्हें अपने स्वामी शिव के सिवाय कुछ भी अच्छा नहीं लगता। शिवपुराण में इस रूपक को कथाओं के माध्यम से बड़ी मनोरंजकता से प्रस्तुत किया गया है। इन्हीं भूतों को बौद्ध धर्म में रैथफुल डाईटी कहते हैं, जो ज्ञानसाधना के दौरान साधक को परेशान करते हैं। इनको डरावनी आकृतियों के रूप में चित्रित किया जाता है।

Friends, on the occasion of this year’s Guru Nanak Day, I got a chance to go to my Sikh brother cum neighbor’s home place for Prabhat-Feri Katha or morning spiritual touring story. As invited with great love and respect, therefore, with the inspiration of Kundalini, my eyes were opened before four o’clock in the morning. As soon as I got ready and reached the spiritual story session with my wife, so did the Granth Sahib arrived from Gurdwara Sahib. It was as if I had received a special invitation to serve. It was a very emotional and exciting scene. Shabd Kirtan was held from 4.30 am to 5.30 am with melodious music. I liked it. This time was in the middle of the time of Brahmamuhurta, which lasts from about 4 am to 6 pm. It was as if we were doing kirtan all night. This is because of the high spiritual energy of the Brahmamuhurta. That is why this time has been fixed above all for spiritual practice. In Brahmamuhurta, spiritual practice brings Kundalini closer to the zenith. I felt the same way. Light refreshments were also served at the end of Katha-Kirtan. Man learns something every moment. Sikh itself means learning. This proves that this religion is cutting-edge and scientific as well, because nowadays it is the era of learning. Similarly, there is a great importance of service in this religion. Today’s era of consumerism, commercialism and competition is the era of public service. Self-protection is at the core of this religion. This sentiment is also very relevant nowadays, because lies, deceit, and tyranny prevail everywhere. I had heard a lot about Brahmamuhurta, but had not experienced it well myself. The reason people don’t know about its power is because they don’t do spiritual practice in a proper way. Power does not have intelligence. Wisdom is possessed by the soul or Vivek or part of soul differentiating bad from good. If there is guidance of wisdom-intellect to power, then only it does self-welfare, otherwise destruction is also possible through it. For example, Pakistan can be viewed. According to sources, the Pakistani army kills innocent and unarmed people. Many times, this country seems less as a country, and more like a propaganda machine. If the monkey gets a razor, then the result can be anything. Power is a push. If there is already garbage in the mind, then energy will push it, which will spread it further. By this a person will refrain from even waking up in Brahmamuhurta. If there is Kundalini in the mind, then only Kundalini will get the push for development. I have been related to a Hindu family since birth. My grandfather was an eminent Hindu priest. I had worked with him as a disciple for many years. It seems that he had unknowingly become my guru. I found Hinduism and Sikhism to be the same. In both, Dharmadhwaj or religion flag, Granth and Guru are worshiped or respected equally. Actually, all religions are same from inside, some people differentiate these from outside. According to Tantra, Kundalini is the Guru, and the Guru is the Kundalini. Yes, since Sikhism is associated with spiritual warriors, it is natural to have a little more briefness, practicality and fanaticism than traditional Hinduism. But that too is negligible in front of certain religions. Although Sikhism is built on the defensive side, not the aggressive side. If there has ever been an offensive mode, then it has happened only for the defense of itself and Hinduism, otherwise not. I am not taking side of any particular religion here. We respect all religions. I am just clarifying the human truth. With thoughtful analysis and writing, the truth becomes more clear. Some bigotry is there in all religions. Some positive fanaticism is also necessary for religion, but it is much better if it remains within the realm of humanity and socialism, for which Sikhism is often known and accepted. In the Middle Ages, when the Indian subcontinent was in darkness due to jihadi invaders, Guru Nanak Dev emerged like a full moon by the inspiration of God, which transformed the dreadful darkness into pleasant moonlight.

In a religious ceremony, along with the luminous God, his shadow may also appear dark. Because light and darkness coexist. Darkness should be respected as the ghost of Shiva, because it came with Shiva. There is night with the moon. Don’t be afraid of him. This creates a powerful Advaita, which helps in awakening the Kundalini. Actually these ghosts are responsible for religious animosity, not Shiva. You must have also seen or heard that after becoming very religious, a person became strange. Sometimes a man does wrong things too. I have a relative. He used to have frequent religious discussions with a friend from his village. Seeing them both gathered, the women of the village started talking to each other while making fun of them saying “look, friends, now the discourse of Shrimad Bhagwat Purana is about to begin”. After some time that friend of my relative suddenly committed suicide, which surprised everyone, as he did not show any signs of depression. Too much is forbidden everywhere.  Maybe superficial religiosity acted as a veil, covering up his depression. That imperfect righteousness caused a fake smile on his face. Maybe if he didn’t wear the cloak of unfulfilled spirituality, people would have known the problem responsible for his inner depression, and would have made him aware of it and suggested a solution. Therefore, he would not have taken a fatal step. That’s why it has been said that little knowledge is a dangerous thing. On the contrary, if he had embraced spirituality to the fullest, his depression would have vanished, along with he would have attained Kundalini awakening. The zenith and perfection of righteousness or spirituality lies in Tantric Kundalini Yoga only. Tantric Kundalini Yoga is just a name or symbol or method of a psychological fact. There may be other names, symbols or methods to bring this spiritual and psychological principle to the ground. Why only Hindu, there can be other religions also. It is so, but we do not understand it, do not recognize it. When all religions and life practices would be studied seriously and scientifically, then only the complete picture will be known. Therefore, till the time it is not known, Kundalini Yoga of Hinduism should work. We need pure water to drink, wherever it comes from, or whatever its name is. Tantra had found some solution for this lack of spirituality. It accepted Bhuta Bali as a part of Panchamakara. It is to be noted that there are Panchakakara in Sikhism. These are the five things whose names begin with the letter K, and which a Sikh must carry with him at all times. These are the five thingsKesh or hair, kada or wrist ring, kangha or comb, kachchha or briefs and kataar or dagger. From this it seems that the leftist system was dominated at that time, due to which Panchakakaras came in existence as partial copy of tantric Panchamakaras. Bhutbali, means sacrifice for the ghost. By this the ghosts are satisfied and calm down. Once I got a chance to live in the high Himalayan regions for some time. There, when the deity is called from house to house, animal sacrifices are also offered to him. When asked, the local people told that the sacrifice is not for the deity, but for the attendants of the deity like ministerial staff etc. who came with him. The diet of the deity is sattvik. So those attendants were in a way only Shivaganas or ghosts, and the deities became Shiva. Even today, on the same lines, many smart people get a lot of work done by pleasing the clerical staff of the office, the officers just keep looking. In fact, sacrifices are a storehouse of energy. It also has tamoguna or darkness in it. Due to the entry of energy and tamo guna into the body, the excess satoguna becomes balanced, and a non-duality prevails in the mind. Balance is essential. Although this balancing work gets spoiled due to excessive energy and tamo guna. The body also needs a lot of energy to hold the Advaita spirit. Due to the creation of non-dual spirit, satoguna starts increasing again. To create Satoguna with the help of Tamoguna, this is probably the only divine formula of leftist Shaivas and Tantriks. The Muladhara chakra symbolizes the Tama guna, and the Sahasrara chakra symbolizes the Satoguna. First, the Kundalini is allowed to come to the base through the Tama guna. Then it is raised directly to Sahasrara by Tantric Kundalini Yoga. From that, satoguna increases immediately, though with balance or non-duality. One of the countless benefits of keeping Kundalini in mind with Kundalini Yoga is the benefit of balance of gunas or qualities. Because Kundalini keeps the balance of all the three gunas by moving like a bead of a rosary throughout the body. The whole game is about energy or power. That’s why it is said that Shiva is attained only through Shakti. By the way, there are many other sattvik methods of achieving energy and quality-balance or non-duality, which are described in the countless scriptures. One such modern book is “Sharir Vigyan Darshan~A Modern Kundalini Tantra”. Ghosts become strong and trouble when Shiva is not meditated or worshiped properly. When Advaita Bhava is attached to it, then they calm down and disappear. In fact, they do not disappear but get absorbed in the luminous Shiva. They are false like a shadow. They don’t have real existence. They are illusionary. This means that ghosts teach non-dualism. That’s why they are followers of Shiva, because they want to make everyone non-dual like their lord Shiva. They do not like anything except their lord Shiva. ਦੋਸਤੋ, ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਵੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤ ਫੇਰੀ ਕਥਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਬੜੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੁੰਡਲਿਨੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਚਾਰ ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਗਈਆਂ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਥਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਵੀ. ਇੰਜ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੱਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਮਾਂਚਕ ਸੀਨ ਸੀ। ਸਵੇਰੇ 4.30 ਤੋਂ 5.30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੁਰੀਲੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਇਆ। ਇਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਮੁਹੂਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਸਵੇਰੇ 4 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੰਜ ਲੱਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਮੁਹੂਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਊਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮਮੁਹੂਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਥਾ-ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਰਿਫਰੈਸ਼ਮੈਂਟ ਵੀ ਵਰਤਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨਸਾਨ ਹਰ ਪਲ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਧਰਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅੱਜ-ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਗ ਖਪਤਵਾਦ, ਵਪਾਰਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਗ ਹੈ। ਸਵੈ-ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਇਸ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗਿਕ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਝੂਠ ਅਤੇ ਫਰੇਬ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਾਵੀ ਹਨ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਮੁਹੂਰਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਖੁਦ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਬੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਵੇਕ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦੀ ਸੇਧ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਤਮ-ਕਲਿਆਣ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਵੀ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ। ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਵਜੋਂ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਫੌਜ ਬੇਕਸੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਹੱਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਈ ਦਫਾ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਘੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਬਾਂਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੇਜ਼ਰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਇੱਕ ਧੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੂੜਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਊਰਜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧੱਕੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਫੈਲਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਮੁਹੂਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਗੁਰੇਜ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦਾ ਧੱਕਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਦਾ ਜੀ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਘੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੇਲੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਣਜਾਣੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਣ ਗਿਐ ਸੀ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਸਨ। ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਮਧ੍ਵਜ, ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਪੂਜਿਆ ਜਾਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਇੱਕੋ ਹਨ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੰਤਰ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਯੁੱਧਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਥੋੜੀ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਖੇਪਤਾ, ਵਿਹਾਰਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਹੋਣੀ ਸੁਭਾਵਿਕ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਿਗੁਣੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਰੱਖਿਆਤਮਕ ਪੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਪੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸੋਚ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਹੈ। ਧਰਮ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਦਾਇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਅਕਸਰ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੀਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੱਧ ਯੁੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਉਪ-ਮਹਾਂਦੀਪ ਜਹਾਦੀ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਨਮਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਏ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਹਾਵਨੀ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਨਮਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਹਨ

ਕਿਸੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਵੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਚਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ ਭੂਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਚੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੋ ਨਾ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਅਦਵੈਤ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕੁੰਡਲਿਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਭੂਤ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣੀ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ, ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਜੀਬ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹੈ। ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਦੇਖੋ ਸਾਖਿਓਂ, ਹੁਣ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਦ ਭਾਗਵਤ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦਾ ਕਥਾ-ਪ੍ਰਵਚਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਦੋਸਤ ਨੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਪਰੈਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਲੱਛਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤਿਵਾਦ ਦੀ ਮਨਾਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਤਹੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਦੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਸ ਅਪੂਰਣ ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਨਕਲੀ ਮੁਸਕਰਾਹਟ ਆਈ।। ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਰੂਹਾਨੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਚੋਗਾ ਨਾ ਪਹਿਨਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਲ ਸੁਝਾਉਂਦੇ। ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਘਾਤਕ ਕਦਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਥੋੜਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ, ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ, ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਜਾਗ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਤਾਂਤਰਿਕ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਯੋਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂਤਰਿਕ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਯੋਗ ਕੇਵਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਤੱਥ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਮ ਜਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਧੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਂ, ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਜਾਂ ਢੰਗ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਹੀ ਕਿਉਂ, ਹੋਰ ਧਰਮ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦੇ, ਪਛਾਣਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਭਿਆਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਦ ਹੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ, ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਕਿਧਰੋਂ ਵੀ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਹੱਲ ਤੰਤਰ ਨੇ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਭੂਤ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਚਮਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਪੰਚਕਕਾਰ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਪੰਜ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਕ ਅੱਖਰ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪੰਜ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਕੇਸ਼, ਕੜਾ, ਕੰਘੀ, ਕੱਛਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਟਾਰ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਖੱਬੇਪੱਖੀ ਤੰਤਰ ਦਾ ਬੋਲਬਾਲਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੰਚਮਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਪੰਚਕਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਭੂਤਬਲੀ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਭੂਤ ਲਈ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਭੂਤ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਉੱਚੇ ਹਿਮਾਲੀਅਨ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਉਥੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਵੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁੱਛਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬਲੀ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਆਦਿ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਸਾਤਵਿਕ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਿਵਗਣ ਜਾਂ ਭੂਤ ਹੀ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰਜ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਕਈ ਚੁਸਤ ਲੋਕ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਬੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਵਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ | ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਊਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਤਮੋਗੁਣ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਊਰਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਮੋ ਗੁਣ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਾਰਨ, ਵਾਧੂ ਸਤਗੁਣ ਸੰਤੁਲਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਦਵੈਤ-ਭਾਵ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਊਰਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਮੋ ਗੁਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਗੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਦਵੈਤ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਊਰਜਾ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਦਵੈਤ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਤਗੁਣ ਮੁੜ ਵਧਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਮੋਗੁਣ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਤਗੁਣ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਹ ਖੱਬੇਪੱਖੀ ਸ਼ੈਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਂਤਰਿਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਇੱਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸੂਤਰ ਹੈ। ਮੂਲਾਧਾਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਤਮ ਗੁਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਹਸ੍ਰਾਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਸਤੋਗੁਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਕੁੰਡਲਿਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਮਗੁਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਧਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂਤਰਿਕ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਯੋਗਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਸਹਿਸਰਾ ਵੱਲ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ, ਸਤੋਗੁਣਾ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਜਾਂ ਗੈਰ-ਦਵੈਤ ਨਾਲ। ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਯੋਗਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਲਾਭਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਣ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਮਣਕੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਘੁੰਮ ਕੇ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਊਰਜਾ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਵੈਸੇ, ਊਰਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਣ-ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਅਥਵਾ ਅਦਵੈਤ-ਭਾਵ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਤਵਿਕ ਢੰਗ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਅਜਿਹੀ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ “ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ~ ਇੱਕ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਕੁੰਡਲਨੀ ਤੰਤਰ” ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਜਾਂ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਭੂਤ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਦਵੈਤ ਭਾਵ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਅਲੋਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭੂਤ ਇਕ ਛਲਾਵਾ ਹੈ। ਭੂਤ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਅਸਤਿੱਤਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਭੂਤ ਇਕ ਸਾਯਾ ਹੈ। ਭੂਤ ਇਕ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਭਰਮ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਾਯਾਮੋਹ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭੂਤ ਅਦ੍ਵੈਤਵਾਦ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦਾ ਪੈਰੋਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਵਰਗਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ। ਸ਼ਿਵ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਅਲੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੜੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਕ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਧਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉਣੇ ਚਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

कुंडलिनी-शिव विवाह ही साधारण लौकिक विवाह का उद्गम स्थान है

मित्रो, आप सभी को छठ पर्व की शुभकामनाएं। मैं हाल ही के एक लेख में बता रहा था कि हिंदू त्यौहारों वाली आध्यात्मिक संस्कृति प्रकृति की पुजारी है, और वातावरणीय प्रदूषण के विरुद्ध है। सूत्रों के अनुसार अभी जब 2-3 दिन पहले छठी देवी की पूजा करने के लिए कुछ महिलाएं दिल्ली की यमुना नदी के पानी के बीच में सूर्य को अर्घ्य देने के लिए खड़ी हुईं, तो दुनिया को यमुना के वास्तविक प्रदूषण का पता चला। यमुना का पानी काला था, और उस पर इतनी ज्यादा सफेद झाग तैर रही थी कि वह ध्रुवीय समुद्र के बीच में तैर रहे बर्फ के पहाड़ लग रहे थे। बताने की जरूरत नहीं है कि अब यमुना की सफाई के प्रयास जोरों से शुरु हो गए हैं। पर इसको करवाने के लिए अनजाने में ही व्हिसल ब्लोवर का काम उन हिन्दू परंपरावादी महिलाओं से हो गया जो अपनी जान को जोखिम में डालकर प्रकृति को सम्मान देने और उसकी पूजा करने के लिए ज़हरीली नदी में उतरीं। कुछ तथाकथित अत्याधुनिक लोग तो उन्हें रूढ़िवादी और अंधविश्वासी कह सकते हैं, पर उन्होंने वह काम कर दिखाया जिसे बड़े-बड़े आधुनिकतावादी और तर्कवादी भी न करे। यह एक छोटा सा उदाहरण है। प्रकृति प्रेमी हिंदूवाद की इसी तरह हर जगह बेकद्री होती हुई दिखती है, इसीलिए प्रकृति विनाश की तरफ जाती हुई प्रतीत होती है। मैं यहाँ किसी धर्मविशेष का पक्ष नहीं ले रहा हूँ, और न ही किसी विचारधारा का विरोध कर रहा हूँ, बल्कि जो सत्य घटना घटित हुई है, उसीका वर्णन और विश्लेषण कर रहा हूँ।

राजा हिमाचल मस्तिष्क का और उसका राज्य शरीर का प्रतीक है

शिवपुराण में आता है कि राजा हिमाचल ने विवाह महोत्सव के लिए अपने सभी संबंधी पर्वतों और नदियों को निमंत्रण दिया। विभिन्न प्रकार के अन्नों का भंडारण करवाया। चारों तरफ साज-सज्जा की गई। अपने राज्य के सभी लोगों के लिए खूब सुख-सुविधाएं वितरित कीं। उससे उसके पूरे राज्य के लोग प्रसन्न हो गए। प्रमुख ऋषियों को शिव के पास विवाह का निमंत्रण लेकर कैलाश मिलने भेजा। दरअसल राजा हिमाचल और उसका महल मस्तिष्क ही है। कैलाश सहस्रार चक्र है। धरती ही राजा हिमाचल का राज्य है। वह पूरा शरीर है। वैसे भी पर्वत को भूभृत कहते हैं। इसका मतलब है, धरती को पालने वाला। मस्तिष्क ही शरीर को पालता है। राजा हिमाचल सभी नदियों को अपने महल बुलाता है, मतलब मस्तिष्क शरीर की सभी नाड़ियों की ऊर्जा को अपनी तरफ आकर्षित करता है। वह सभी पर्वतों को भी न्यौता देता है, मतलब मस्तिष्क का मुख्य केंद्र अन्य छोटे-छोटे केंद्रों से संवेदना-शक्ति को इकट्ठा करके कुंडलिनी जागरण की सर्वोच्च संवेदना को अभिव्यक्त करता है। यही शिव विवाह है, और इसीको ही विभिन्न पर्वतों का शिवविवाह में सम्मिलित होना कहा गया है। पर्वतराज हिमाचल विभिन्न खाद्यान्नों का भंडारण करता है, मतलब मस्तिष्क शरीर की सारी ऊर्जा अपनी तरफ खींचता है। भोजन ही ऊर्जा है, ऊर्जा ही भोजन है। प्राण ऊर्जा की प्राप्ति के लिए ही भोजन किया जाता है। तभी तो कहते हैं कि अन्न ही प्राण है। राजा हिमाचल के पूरे राज्य की जनता धन-धान्य से युक्त होकर हर्षोल्लास से भर जाती है, मतलब मस्तिष्क में जब ऊर्जा की भरमार होती है, तब उससे ऐसे रसायन निकलते हैं, जो पूरे शरीर को लाभ पहुंचाते हैं। शरीर और ब्रह्मांड के बीच में इस तरह की समकक्षता पुस्तक ‘शरीरविज्ञान दर्शन’ में सर्वोत्तम रूप में दर्शाई गई है। शिवविवाह के दिन राज्य के सभी लोग विभिन्न भोगों की धाम खाते हैं, और विभिन्न विलासों का भरपूर आनन्द उठाते हैं। इसका मतलब है कि कुंडलिनी जागरण वाले दिन पूरे शरीर में रक्तसंचार बढ़ जाता है। ऋषियों को आम आदमी के जैसे साधारण विवाह को इतने विस्तार से लिखने की क्या जरूरत थी, क्योंकि वे ज्यादातर खुद ब्रह्मचारी या अविवाहित होते थे, और कई तो गृहस्थी से दूर रहकर वनों में तप करते थे। कुंडलिनी के तो माता-पिता हैं, पर शिव के कोई नहीं। वह तो स्वयंभू परमात्मा हैं, इसीलिए शम्भु कहे जाते हैं। इससे जाहिर होता है कि यह साधारण विवाह नहीँ है। कुंडलिनी जागरण को ही शिवविवाह के रूप में वर्णित किया गया है, ताकि गृहस्थी में बंधे हुए आमजन भी उसे समझ सके और उसे आसानी से प्राप्त कर सके।

हिमाचल राज्य का सर्वोच्च महल सहस्रार है, जहाँ पर शिव-शक्ति का वैवाहिक जोड़ा ही स्थायी रूप से निवास कर सकता है

उपरोक्तानुसार सप्तऋषियों को विवाह के निमंत्रण पत्र के साथ शिव के पास कैलाश भेजा। कैलाश सहस्रार चक्र है। वहाँ पर ही अद्वैतभाव रूपी शिव का निवासस्थान है। दरअसल प्राणोत्थान के बाद शरीर की ऊर्जा-नदी का प्रवाह सहस्रार की तरफ ही होता है। उससे स्वाभाविक है कि उस ऊर्जा के बल से सहस्रार क्षेत्र में अद्वैतभाव व आनन्द के साथ सुंदर चित्र प्रकट होते रहते हैं। यह भी स्वाभाविक ही है कि अधिकांशतः वे चित्र भी उन्हीं लोगों या वस्तुओं के बनते हैं, जिनके साथ अद्वैत भाव या आध्यात्मिक भाव जुड़ा होता है। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि कोई व्यक्ति उसी क्षेत्र में जाना चाहता है, जो क्षेत्र उसके अनुकूल या उसके जैसा हो। ऋषि-मुनियों से अधिक अद्वैतरूप या आध्यात्मिक कौन हो सकता है। इसीलिए उन आध्यात्मिक वस्तुओं या व्यक्तियों को सप्तर्षिओं के रूप में दिखाया गया है। वैसे वह गुरु, मंदिर का पुजारी, मंदिर, गाय, गंगा आदि कोई भी आध्यात्मिक वस्तु हो सकती है। शिवजी के नजदीक तो ये चीजें जाती हैं, और उन्हें कुंडलिनी के साथ एकाकार होने के लिए प्रेरित भी करती हैं, पर खुद शिव से एकाकार नहीं हो पातीं। इसीको इनके द्वारा शिव को उन्हीं के विवाह के लिए निमंत्रण देने के रूप में दिखाया गया है। विवाह किससे, कुंडलिनी से। शिव के साथ एकाकार न हो पाने के कारण ही इन्हें निमंत्रण देकर वापिस आते हुए दिखाया गया है। कोई भी चित्र शिव से जुड़े बिना निरन्तर सहस्रार में नहीं बना रह सकता, उसे जल्दी ही मस्तिष्क के निम्नतर ऊर्जा स्तर वाले निचले साधारण क्षेत्रों में आना ही पड़ता है। कुंडलिनी ही शिव के साथ एकाकार होने या जागृत होने के फलस्वरूप शिव के साथ कैलाश में निरंतर बनी रह पाती है। मतलब कि कुंडलिनी जागरण के बाद आदमी को अपनी आत्मा के साथ जुड़ी हुई कुंडलिनी का अनुभव सहस्रार चक्र में निरंतर होता रहता है। यही कुंडलिनी जागरण की सर्वप्रमुख खूबी है, और यही आदमी को मोक्ष की ओर ले जाती है।

प्राण ही सहस्रार में शिव-शक्ति का विवाह रचाते हैं

फिर आता है कि शिव के विवाह समारोह के लिए विश्वकर्मा ने अद्भुत व दिव्य विवाह मंडप, भवन व प्रांगण आदि बनाए। जड़ मूर्तियां सजीव लग रही थीं, और सजीव वस्तुएं जड़ मूर्तियां लग रही थीं। जल में स्थल का और स्थल में जल का भान हो रहा था। दरअसल कुंडलिनी जागरण के आसपास प्राणों के सहस्रार में होने के कारण सब कुछ अद्भुत व दिव्य लगता है। अतीव आनन्द की स्थिति होती है। चारों ओर शांति महसूस होती है। अद्वैत भाव चरम के करीब होता है, और कुंडलिनी जागरण के दौरान तो चरम पर पहुंच जाता है। सभी कुछ एक जैसा लगता है। भेद दृष्टि खत्म सी हो जाती है। यह नशे के जैसी मूढ़ अवस्था नहीं होती, पर परम चेतनता और आनन्द से भरी होती है। इसी आध्यात्मिक भाव को यहाँ उपरोक्त रोचक कथानक के रूप में दर्शाया गया है। जल का थल लगना या थल का जल लगना, मतलब जल और थल के बीच में अभेद का अनुभव। जड़ का चेतन की तरह दिखना व चेतन का जड़ की तरह दिखना, मतलब जड़ और चेतन के बीच में समानता नजर आना। हर जगह झाड़-बुहार के पूरी तरह से साफ व निर्मल कर दी गई थी। इसका मतलब है कि सहस्रार में ही असली व पूर्ण निर्मलता का अनुभव होता है। बाहर से जितना मर्जी सफाई कर लो, यदि सहस्रार में प्राण नहीं हैं, तो सबकुछ मैला ही लगता है। इसी वजह से तो गाय के गोबर से पुते हुए आध्यात्मिक स्थान अति पवित्र महसूस होते हैं, क्योंकि आध्यात्मिकता के प्रभाव से सहस्रार चक्र प्राण से संपन्न होता है। जिन मूल्यवान भवनों में लड़ाई-झगड़ों का बोलबाला हो, वहां की चाकचौबंद सफाई भी रास नहीं आती, और वहाँ दम सा घुटता है। इसके विपरीत एक आध्यात्मिक साधु पुरुष की गोबर से लिपीपुती घासफूस की झौंपड़ी भी बड़ी आकर्षक व संजीदा लगती है।

Kundalini-Shiva marriage is the origin of ordinary worldly marriage

Friends, Happy Chhath festival to all of you. I was mentioning in a recent blog article that the spiritual culture of Hindu festivals is the worship of nature, and is against environmental pollution. According to sources, just 2-3 days ago when some women stood in the middle of the waters of Yamuna river in Delhi to offer arghya or holy water to the sun god to worship the sixth goddess or goddess chhathi, the world came to know about the real pollution of Yamuna. The waters of the Yamuna were black, and there was so much white foam floating on it that they looked like mountains of ice floating in the middle of the polar sea. Needless to say that now the efforts to clean Yamuna have started in full swing. But in order to get this done, the work of whistleblower was unknowingly done by those Hindu traditionalist women who risked their lives to enter the poisonous river to honor and worship nature. Some so-called modern people may call them orthodox and superstitious, but they have done what the great modernists and rationalists seldom dare. This is a small example. There seems to be inferior look towards nature loving Hinduism, that is why nature seems to be going towards destruction. I am not taking the side of any particular religion here, nor I’m opposing any tradition, but I am describing and analyzing the true incident which has happened.

King Himachal is the symbol of the mind and his kingdom the body

It is told in the Shiv Purana that King Himachal invited all his relative-mountains and rivers for the marriage festival of Shiva-parvati. He stored different types of food. There was decoration all around. He distributed many amenities to all the people of his state. The people of his entire kingdom were pleased with him. The chief sages were sent to Kailash to meet Shiva with an invitation for marriage. Actually, King Himachal and his palace are the brain. Kailash is the Sahasrara Chakra. The land or earth itself is the kingdom of King Himachal. It is the whole body. Anyway, the mountain is called Bhubhrit. It means the one who maintains or supports or nourishes the earth. The mind or brain sustains the body. King Himachal calls all the rivers his palace, meaning the brain attracts the energy of all the nadis or channels of the body towards itself. He also invites all the mountains, that is, the main center of the brain expresses the supreme sensation of Kundalini awakening by gathering sensation-force from all other smaller centres of the brain. This is the marriage of Shiva, and this is what is said to be the joining of various mountains in the marriage of Shiva. Parvatraj Himachal stores various food grains, meaning the brain draws all the energy of the body towards itself. Food is energy, energy is food. Food is eaten only to get life energy. That’s why it is said that food is life or prana. The people of the entire state of Himachal are filled with joy and happiness, which means that when the brain is full of energy, then such chemicals are released from it, which benefit the whole body. Such equivalence between the body and the universe is best depicted in the book Physiology Philosophy or Sharirvigyan darshan. On the day of Shiva marriage, all the people of the state join the abode of various pleasures, and enjoy various luxuries to the fullest. This means that the blood circulation throughout the body increases on the day of Kundalini awakening. What was the need of the sages to write in such detail a simple marriage like a common man, because they themselves were celibate or unmarried and many used to do penance in the forests while staying away from the household. Kundalini has parents, but Shiva doesn’t have. Shiva is self born, that’s why called as Shambhu. It is evident from this that it’s not an ordinary worldly marriage. Kundalini awakening has been described as Shiva marriage, so that even the common people bound in the household can understand it and get its benefit easily.

The highest palace of the state of Himachal is Sahasrar, where only the married couple of Shiva-Shakti can reside permanently

As above, the Saptarishis or seven great sages were sent to Kailash along with marriage invitation letter to Shiva. Kailash is the Sahasrara Chakra. There is the abode of Shiva in the form of non-dualism. In fact, after the prana rising, the energy-river of the body flows only towards Sahasrar. It is natural that with the power of that energy, beautiful pictures keep up appearing in the Sahasrar region with non-duality and joy. It is also natural that most of those pictures are also made of those people or things with which Advaita Bhava or spiritual spirit is associated. This is because a person wants to go to the same area which is favorable to him or is similar to him. Who can be more non-dual or spiritual than the seven great sages. That is why those spiritual objects or persons are shown as Saptarishis. Well it can be any spiritual object like Guru, temple priest, temple, cow, Ganga etc. These things go close to Shiva, and also inspire him to become one with Kundalini, but these are not able to become one with Shiva themselves. This is shown by Shiva purana as an invitation to Shiva for his marriage. Whom to marry, Kundalini. Due to not being able to unite with Shiva, these are shown coming back after giving invitation. No one can stay for long in Sahasrara without complete Union with Shiva. Spiritual images visiting for few moments in Sahasrara have to come back to general lower areas of brain. Kundalini is able to remain continuously with Shiva in Kailash as a result of being one with Shiva or being awakened. Meaning that after Kundalini awakening, the experience of Kundalini connected with one’s soul continues throughout his life in the Sahasrara Chakra. This is the main quality of Kundalini awakening that leads a man to salvation.

It is Pran who creates the marriage of Shiva-Shakti in Sahasrar

Then it comes that Vishwakarma made wonderful and divine marriage pavilions, buildings and courtyards for the marriage ceremony of Shiva. Inertial sculptures looked like living things, and living things looked like sculptures. There was a feeling of land in the water and of the water in the land. Actually, due to the existence of profound prana in Sahasrara around Kundalini awakening, everything seems wonderful and divine. There is a state of great joy. There is peace all around. Advaita Bhava is near the peak, and reaches its peak during Kundalini awakening. Everything seems the same. The distinction ends. It is not a stupor like intoxication, but full of supreme consciousness and bliss. This spiritual sentiment is depicted here in the form of the above interesting story. Water to land or land to water, means the end to experience of distinction between water and land. The appearance of the nonliving as the living and the living being seen as the nonliving, means there should be a similarity between the nonliving and the living. Everywhere was thoroughly cleaned and well swept. This means that real and complete purity is experienced in Sahasrar itself. Clean as much as you want from outside, if there is no prana life in Sahasrar, then everything looks dirty. For this reason, spiritual places smeared with cow dung feel very sacred, because the Sahasrar Chakra is filled with prana life due to the influence of spirituality. Even the neat cleanliness of the costly buildings, where there is a lot of fighting and quarrels, is not liked, and there is a suffocation. On the contrary, a hut of grass that is covered with cow dung and occupied by a spiritual sage also looks very attractive and blissful.

कुंडलिनी ध्यान के लिए तप को ही शिव या इष्ट ध्यान के लिए तप कहा जाता है, मोटे तौर पर

कुंडलिनी एक लज्जा से भरी स्त्री की तरह अपने प्रियतम शिव से मिलने से शर्माती है, और असंख्य युगों और जन्मों तक अविवाहित रहकर ही उसकी अव्यवस्थित खोज में पागलों की तरह भटकती रहती है

दोस्तो, मैं पिछली पोस्ट में शिवपुराण का हवाला देकर बता रहा था कि पार्वती शिव से मिलते हुए शरमा कर पीछे भी हट रही थी, पर साथ में आनन्द से मुस्कुरा भी रही थी। दरअसल कुंडलिनी या जीव के साथ भी ऐसा ही होता है। कुंडलिनी जैसे ही शिव से एक होने लगती है, वैसे ही वह घबराकर और शरमा कर पीछे हट जाती है। हालांकि उसे आनन्द भी बहुत आता है, और बाद में वह पछताती भी है कि वह क्यों पीछे हटी। यही क्षणिक कुंडलिनी जागरण है, जैसा शिवकृपा से व गुरुकृपा से संभवतः मुझे भी हुआ था। अब तो मुझे वह अनुभव याद भी नहीं। इतना सा लगता है कि वह हुआ था कुछ और मैं पूरी तरह से खुल जैसा गया था उस समय। बहुत संभव है कि इसी कुंडलिनी कथा को ही इस शिवकथा के रूप में लिखा हो। न भी लिखा हो, तब भी कोई बात नहीं, क्योंकि जैसा स्थूल जगत में होता है, वैसा ही सूक्ष्म जगत में भी होता है। कोई फर्क नहीं। यतपिण्डे तत्ब्रह्मांडे। शिव ने जब कामदेव को भस्म कर दिया, तब वे खुद भी अंतर्धान हो गए। इससे पार्वती विरह से अत्यंत व्याकुल हो गई। हर समय वह शिव की याद में खोई रहती थी। उसे कहीं पर भी आनन्द नहीं मिल पा रहा था। उसका जीवन नीरस सा हो गया था। उसकी यह दशा देखकर पर्वतराज हिमाचल भी दुखी हो गए। उन्होंने अपनी बेटी पार्वती को अपनी गोद में बिठाकर उसे प्यार से सांत्वना दी। एकदिन नारद मुनि पार्वती से मिलने आए और पार्वती को समझाया कि उसने अपना अहंकार नष्ट नहीं किया था, इसीलिए शिव अंतर्धान हुए। फिर उससे और कहा कि शिव उसकी भलाई के लिए उसका अहंकार खत्म करना चाहते हैं, इसीलिए उससे दूर हुए हैं। नारद ने पार्वती को अहंकार खत्म करने के लिए तपस्या करने को कहा। जब पार्वती ने तपस्या के लिए नारद से मंत्र मांगा, तो नारद ने उसे शिव पंचाक्षर मन्त्र दिया। यह “ॐ नमः शिवाय” ही है।

उपरोक्त रूपात्मक कथा का रहस्योद्घाटन

ऐसा घटनाक्रम बहुत से प्रेम प्रसंगों में दृष्टिगोचर होता है। एकबार जब मानसिक यौनसंबंध बन जाता है, उसके बाद एकदूसरे के प्रति बेहिसाब आकर्षण पैदा हो जाता है। पुरुष लगातार अपनी प्रेमिका की परीक्षा लेता है। वह उसे अपने प्रेम में दीवाना देखना चाहता है। वह उसे अपने प्रति पूरी तरह से निष्ठावान और समर्पित देखना चाहता है। कई संयमित मन वाले पुरुष तो यहाँ तक चाहते हैं कि स्त्री उसे स्वयं प्रोपोज़ करे औऱ यहाँ तक कि वह अपनी डोली लेकर भी खुद ही उसके घर आए। यह जोक नहीं, एक मनोवैज्ञानिक वास्तविकता है। यह कुंडलिनी से प्रेरित ही है। वे ऐसा न होने पर स्त्री को त्यागने से भी परहेज नहीं करते। शिव के जैसे उच्च आध्यात्मिक पुरुष तो स्त्री के अत्यंत निकट आ जाने पर भी अपने को संयमित करके अपने को गलत काम से बचा लेते हैं। वे स्त्री से बात भी नहीं करते और जीवन में अपना अलग रास्ता पकड़ लेते हैं। यह शिव के अंतर्धान होने की तरह ही है। इससे स्त्री, प्रेमी पुरुष की याद में बिन पानी मछली की तरह तड़पती है। पार्वती के साथ भी वैसा ही हुआ था। पुरुष भी उसकी याद को अपने मन में बसा कर अपने काम में लग जाता है। यह शिव के ध्यान की अवस्था में चले जाने की तरह ही है। अधिकांशतः पुरुष तो पहले से ही शिव की तरह अहंकार से रहित होता है। ज्यादातर मामलों में, रूप, गुण और संपत्ति का अहंकार तो स्त्री को ही ज्यादा होता है। इसी वजह से पुरुष उससे दूर चला जाता है, क्योंकि आग और पानी का मेल कहाँ। मैं यहाँ लैंगिक पक्षपात नहीँ कर रहा हूँ, बल्कि प्रकृति की अद्भुत सच्चाई बयान कर रहा हूँ। अपवाद तो हर जगह हैं, कहीं ज्यादा तो कहीं कम। कालांतर में जब दुनियादारी के थपेड़े खाकर स्त्री का अहंकार नष्ट होता है, तब फिर उस प्रेमी पुरुष से उसकी मुलाकात होती है। हालाँकि अधिकांश स्त्रियों ने अपनी अलग गृहस्थी बसा ली होती है। पार्वती के जैसी तो बिरली ही होती है जो ताउम्र शिव की प्रतीक्षा करती रहती हो। फिर भी स्त्री, अपने सच्चे प्रेमी पुरुष से भावनात्मक लाभ तो प्राप्त करती ही है, बहिन, मित्र आदि किसी भी सम्बन्ध से। उन दोनों की मिश्रित मानसिक शक्ति स्वयँ ही उनकी संतानों को प्राप्त हो जाती है। यही शिव पार्वती का लौकिक मिलन, और मानसिक शक्ति के रूप में भगवान कार्तिकेय का जन्म है।

हिमालय का गंगावतरण वाला स्थान ही सहस्रार है

पार्वती उसी गंगावतरण वाले स्थान पर तप करती है, जहाँ उसने शिव के साथ प्रेमालाप किया था। वह स्थान सहस्रार चक्र ही है। “प्रेम की गंगा” छंद भी लोकप्रसिद्ध है। दरअसल प्रणय प्रेम से पीठ में सुषुम्ना से होकर चढ़ने वाली ऊर्जा ही वह प्रेम की गंगा है। कुंडलिनी सहस्रार चक्र पर आरूढ़ हो गई, और अद्वैत के आनन्द का अनुभव करने लगी। इसको ऐसे लिखा गया है कि पार्वती सहस्रार में तप करने लगी। तप का मतलब सहस्रार में कुंडलिनी का ध्यान ही है। यही शिव का ध्यान भी है, क्योंकि सहस्रार में कुंडलिनी से मिलने शिव देरसवेर जरूर आते हैं, मतलब कुंडलिनी जागरण जरूर होता है। तप ध्यान के लिए ही किया जाता है। इसलिए तप को ध्यान योग या कुंडलिनी योग भी कह सकते हैं। यदि तप से ध्यान न लगे, तो वह तप नहीं, मात्र दिखावा है। हालाँकि तप कुंडलिनी के ध्यान के लिए होता है, पर इसे मोटे तौर पर शिव के ध्यान के लिए बताया जाता है, क्योंकि कुंडलिनी से अंततः शिव की ही तो प्राप्ति होती है। यह इस ब्लॉग के इस मुख्य बिंदु को फिर से प्रमाणित करता है कि कुंडलिनी ध्यान या कुंडलिनी योग ही सबकुछ है। अपनी बेटी को मनाने और तप से रोकने के लिए उसके पिता हिमाचल और माता मेनका अपने पुत्रों और प्रसिद्ध पर्वतों के साथ वहाँ पहुंचते हैं। वे उसके कष्ट से दुखी हो जाते हैं। वे उसे कहते हैं कि कामदेव को भस्म करने वाले वैरागी शिव उसे नहीं मिलने आने वाले। वैसे भी भगवान को किसी की परवाह नहीं। वह अपने आप में पूर्ण है। वह अपनेआप में ही मस्त रहता है। ऐसे परम मस्तमौला को मना कर अपने वश में करना आसान काम नहीं है। पर पार्वती जैसे हठी भक्त लोग उसे मना लेते हैं। पार्वती को भक्ति की शक्ति का पूरा पता था, इसलिए वह नहीं मानती और तप करती रहती है। दरअसल मस्तिष्क ही हिमाचल राजा है। उससे ऐसे रसायन निकलते हैं, जो तपस्या से हटाते हैं। यही हिमाचल के द्वारा पार्वती को समझाना है। यह कुंडलिनी से ध्यान हटाकर जीव को बाहरी दुनियादारी में उलझाकर रखना चाहता है। विभिन्न पर्वत शिखर मस्तिष्क की अखरोट जैसी आकृति के उभार हैं, जो शरीर के विभिन्न भागों को नियंत्रित करते हैं। ये सभी पर्वतराज हिमाचल के अंदर ही हैं। मस्तिष्क को अपनी सत्ता के खोने का डर बना रहता है। उसके तप की आग की तपिश से सारा ब्रह्मांड जलने लगता है। इससे परेशान होकर ब्रह्मा को साथ लेकर सभी देवता और पर्वत उसे मनाने और तप से रोकने के लिए उसके पास जाते हैं। दरअसल यह शरीर ही संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड है। इसमें सभी देवताओं का वास है। तप के क्लेश से यह शरीर तो दुष्प्रभावित होगा ही। यह स्वाभाविक ही है। ब्रह्मा सुमेरु पर्वत पर रहते हैं। सुमेरु पर्वत मस्तिष्क को ही कहते हैं। जैसे ब्रह्मा से ही सृष्टि का विकास होता है, वैसे ही मस्तिष्क से शरीर का विकास होता है, अपनी कल्पनाशीलता से। वैसे तो मस्तिष्क में सभी देवताओं का निवास है, पर मस्तिष्क के सर्वप्रमुख अभिमानी देवता को ही ब्रह्मा कहते हैं। सभी देवता मस्तिष्क के साथ पूरे शरीर में व्याप्त रहते हैं, पर ब्रह्मा मस्तिष्क में ही रहता है। इसीलिए ब्रह्मा का निवास सुमेरु में बताया गया है। इसलिए तप से ये ही शरीरस्थ देवता और इस शरीर रूपी ब्रह्मांड में रहने वाले असंख्य कोशिका रूपी जीव ही भूखे-प्यासे रहकर व्याकुल होते हैं। वास्तव में कुंडलिनी के साथ शरीर के प्राण भी सहस्रार को चले जाते हैं। इससे शरीर शक्तिहीन सा होकर अपंग जैसा या लाचार जैसा या पराश्रित जैसा हो जाता है। इससे स्वाभाविक ही है कि शरीर तो भौतिक रूप से पिछड़ेगा ही। बाहर के स्थूल ब्रह्मांड में कुछ नहीं होता। अगर बाहर के स्थूल जीवों और देवताओं को कष्ट हुआ करता, तो आज तक कोई भी नहीँ बचा होता, क्योंकि ध्यान योग के रूप में प्रतिदिन लाखों लोग तप करते हैं। कई योगी तो वनों-पर्वतों में भी घोर तप करते हैं।

Kundalini meditation-penance is called as Shiva or Ishta meditation-penance grossly

Kundalini shy away from meeting her beloved Shiva like a woman filled with shame, and being unmarried for innumerable ages and births, wanders like crazy in her chaotic pursuit

Friends, in the previous post, I was referring to Shiva Purana to tell that Parvati was shying back while meeting Shiva, but was also smiling with joy. Actually the same happens with Kundalini or the living entity. As Kundalini begins to unite with Shiva, she withdraws in panic and shyness. Although she enjoys it too much, and later she regrets why she backed out. This is the momentary awakening of Kundalini possibly that happened to me, by the grace of Shiva and by the grace of Guru. Now I don’t even remember that experience. So it seems to me that something had happened and I was completely open at that time. It is quite possible that this type of Kundalini story has been written in the form of this Shiva story or Shiva Katha. Even if it is not written, it does not matter, because as happens in the gross world, so happens in the subtle world also. No difference. “Yatpinde Tatbrahmande” in Sanskrit. When Shiva consumed Kamadeva, he himself disappeared. This made Parvati extremely distraught with separation. All the time she was lost in the remembrance of Shiva. She could not find any joy anywhere. Her life had become dull. Seeing her condition, Parvatraj or Mountain king Himachal also became sad. He lovingly consoled his daughter Parvati by placing her on his lap. One day Narada Muni came to meet Parvati and explained to Parvati that she had not destroyed her ego, that is why Shiva disappeared. Then told her that Shiva wants to destroy her ego for her good, that is why he had turned away from her. Narada asked Parvati to do penance to end her ego. When Parvati asked for a mantra from Narada for penance, Narada gave her the Shiva Panchakshara mantra. It is “Om Namah Shivaya” a famous mantra.

Revelation of the above allegorical or metaphoric story

This phenomenon is visible in many love affairs. Once there is a mental sexual relationship, then there is an immense attraction towards each other. The man constantly tests his girlfriend. He wants to see her crazy in his love. He wants to see her completely loyal and devoted to him. Many restrained men even want the woman to propose him herself and even bring her doli (bride’s chariot) of her marriage to his house on her own. This is not a joke, it is a psychological reality. It is inspired by Kundalini. If this is not the case, they do not even refrain from abandoning the woman. A highly spiritual man like Shiva, even after coming very close to the woman, restrains himself and saves himself from wrongdoing. They do not even talk to the woman and take their own separate path in life. It is like the disappearance of Shiva. Due to this, the woman suffers like a fish without water in the memory of the lover. The same happened with Parvati too. The man also settles her memory in his mind and gets engaged in his work. It is just like Shiva going into a meditative state. Most of the men already appear devoid of ego like Shiva. In most of the cases, only the woman has the ego of form, quality and property. I’m not showing gender discrimination here. I’m only showing the natural truth. Exceptions are everywhere, somewhere more, somewhere less. For this reason the man goes away from her, because where is the union of fire and water. Later on, when the ego of a woman is destroyed by the blows of worldliness, then she meets that loving man again by chance. However, most of the women have settled their own separate household. Unlike Parvati waiting for Shiva, it is rare that she keeps on waiting for her lover throughout her life. Still, a woman receives emotional benefits from her true lover man as a sister, friend, etc., or through any humane relationship. The mixed mental power of both of lovers is automatically passed on to their children, either they marry or not. This is the cosmic union of Shiva-Parvati, and the birth of Lord Kartikeya in the form of psychic power.

Sahasrar is the place where the Ganges descends in the Himalayas

Parvati meditates at the same place where she had a courtship with Shiva. That place is the Sahasrara Chakra itself. That’s the place of Kundalini awakening. The verse “Ganga of love” is so popular. In fact, the energy that ascends through the sushumna in the back with love is the Ganges of love. Kundalini mounted on the Sahasrara Chakra, and began to experience the bliss of Advaita. It has been written in such a way that Parvati started doing penance in Sahasrar. Tapas means meditation of Kundalini in Sahasrar. This is also the meditation of Shiva, because in Sahasrar Shiva definitely comes to meet Kundalini later or sooner, which means Kundalini awakening definitely takes later or sooner. Tapas done for kundalini meditation is grossly called as tapas done for meditation of Shiva, because ultimately Kundalini is leading to Shiva only. This again proves the theme of this blog that Kundalini meditation is everything or one and all. penance is done only for meditation. Therefore, tapas can also be called dhyana yoga or kundalini yoga. If tapas or austerity does not lead to meditation, then it is not austerity, it is just a show. Her father Himachal and mother Maneka reach there with their sons and famous mountains to persuade their daughter and stop her from penance. They are saddened by her suffering. They tell her that the recluse Shiva, who consumed Kamadeva, will not come to meet her. Anyway, God doesn’t care about anyone. He is complete in himself. He enjoys himself. It is not an easy task to control such a supreme master. But stubborn devotees like Parvati convince him. Parvati was fully aware of the power of devotion, so she does not believe and keeps on doing penance. Actually the brain is the king Himachal. Such chemicals come out of it, which distract away from penance. This is what Himachal explains to Parvati the wrathful aftermaths of doing penance. It wants to keep the soul entangled in the external world by diverting the attention from the Kundalini or say Shiva. Various mountain peaks are walnut-like bulges of the brain, which control different parts of the body. All these submountains are inside Himachal. The mind or brain remains in fear of losing its power. With the heat of the fire of her penance, the whole universe starts burning. Disturbed by this, all the gods and mountains, taking Brahma along with them, go to her to persuade her and stop her from penance. Actually this body is the whole universe. There is a sumeru mountain in it. It is the abode of all the gods. This body will definitely be badly afflicted by the austerity. It’s natural for brain to stop this all. Brahma lives on Mount Sumeru. Mount Sumeru is called the brain itself. Just as the universe develops from Brahma, so does the body develop from the brain out of its thinking power. Although all the deities reside in the brain, but the most arrogant and powerful deity of the mind is called Brahma that’s called primarily living there. All the demigods pervade the whole body along with the brain, but Brahma resides only in the brain. That is why the abode of Brahma is said to be in Sumeru. Therefore, due to austerity, these physical deities and innumerable living cell-shaped creatures living in this body-like universe are disturbed by being hungry and thirsty. In fact, along with the Kundalini, the prana of the body also goes to Sahasrara. Due to this the body becomes powerless like crippled or like helpless or like dependent. It is natural that the body will then become physically backward. It’s all inside this body-universe or subtle universe. Nothing happens in the outer gross universe. If the external gross creatures and gods had suffered, no one would have survived till today, because lakhs of people do penance every day in the form of meditation. Many yogis do severe penance even in the forests and mountains.
