Sanatan Dharma as Lived Experience: When Scriptures Become a Life

A personal preface

This is not a claim, not a declaration of divinity, and not an attempt to place myself above any tradition. This is only a record of lived experience — how scriptures, relationships, stages of life, and inner practices unfolded naturally inside one ordinary human life. I write this because many people think our scriptures are theory, mythology, or outdated philosophy. My life has shown me that they are a practical way of living, happening even in the age of supercomputers, aeroplanes, and high technology.

If divine permission comes, a full book may come later. For now, this is the nutshell — for curious readers who want to understand how Sanātana Dharma actually works in living human beings.

Scriptures are not theory — they are living maps

I have seen that the great god lineages are not isolated historical events limited to one time and place. They are stages of human spiritual evolution that keep happening again and again, everywhere, in different people, in different forms. That is why this dharma is called sanātana — eternal — unlike systems tied to one prophet, one story, or one century.

Technology does not block these stages. A needle, an aeroplane, a supercomputer — none of these stop consciousness from evolving. Outer tools change, inner laws do not.

The Śiṣya phase: childhood discipline and listening

My first phase was the śiṣya phase, in childhood.

I was an observer by nature. Disciplined. Non-revolting. Whatever teachers and elders taught that felt good and right, I accepted happily and with devotion, without criticism. I now see that this phase is common to all great lineages — before anyone becomes a knower, they must become a learner.

Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Shankara — all began as disciples. Ego must soften before it can dissolve.

Dada Guru: the power of sound and atmosphere

My grandfather used to read scriptures aloud for hours every day to listeners. Those words falling on my ears shaped my inner world long before I understood them. I did not study scriptures — I absorbed them.

That is why I call him Dada Guru.

He did not give me a mantra, but he gave me atmosphere, rhythm, reverence, and sound — śabda-brahma. Those sounds later pushed me naturally toward practical living, not theoretical belief.

Krishna phase: adolescence, attraction, and refined desire

In adolescence came the Krishna phase, lasting about 1–1.5 years during senior secondary school. This phase was intense and energetic — attraction to girls, being attracted by girls, social charm, indirect sexual fun — but never vulgar indulgence.

The purpose was not enjoyment but learning the essence of kāma. Attraction was raised but held in a sattvic environment, with social distance and inner discipline. Slowly, attraction turned into bhakti. A meditation image developed by itself in the mind — Radha and Krishna appearing in each other — and this led to spontaneous samādhi, exactly as described in Bhāgavata Purāṇa through the gopīs.

This phase cannot last long; it is too volatile and needs continued physical presence. The continued physical presence of attracting partners became difficult to tolerate, and maintaining control by consciously preventing physical contact for long periods required great inner discipline. But it is essential. Without it, later renunciation becomes dry and incomplete.

Shakti / Durga phase: courage, love, and inner femininity

After Krishna phase came the Shakti phase, lasting nearly five years during university life, and continuing even after marriage due to the support of my wife.

Internally, I lived a feminine reality — sensitivity, softness, devotion — while externally I became brave, ready to fight evil in sattvic, nonviolent, tactical, and lawful ways. This is the Durga function: courage without brutality, strength without hatred. Together, the meditation image of the mental consort anchored in the mind matured even further — not merely as a thought, but as a fully living inner presence, just as Radha lived within Krishna even in her physical absence, and even while he was living his worldly life with his wife, Rukmini. In Vaishnava understanding, Radha is the hlādinī-śakti — the inner bliss-consciousness of Krishna — and when sustained joy, devotion, and fullness arose naturally from this meditation image, that experiential bliss could be understood as the same hlādinī current described in the scriptures. It was not an identity or a divine claim, but the recognition that a human inner process was unfolding exactly as the ancient maps had described: bliss arising from continuous remembrance and inwardly residing devotion.

I succeeded a little — not by force, but by alignment, what I call divine help.

Life as gurukula: gods as living people

I slowly realized that gods did not come from heaven — they came through people around me.

A naughty relative boy living at our home carried the Krishna role.
My father carried the Rama role — discipline, responsibility, order.
My uncle carried the Shiva role — depth, silence, detachment.
All the sweet girls who were part of attraction carried the Shakti role.

These were not fantasies. They were living transmissions. I merged all these roles into one integrated life. It felt as if all gods joined their powers to destroy one demon — ignorance.

Shiva phase: tantra, isolation, and upward energy

When Shakti phase reached its peak, worldly energy naturally declined and pushed me into isolation. This was the beginning of Shiva phase.

Shiva here means not only worldly isolation but tantric transformation — raw base energy rising as Kundalini toward awakening. As energy turned upward, my inner imagery changed: the feminine consort image was replaced by a male guru image. This gave me the feeling of being male again, grounded and directed.

To the world, this can look strange or misunderstood. But it was not indulgence or confusion — it was pure Kundalini meditation in tantric style, where imagery changes to match energy direction.

This Shiva phase is most dominant in my recent books because it is the most recent and intense lived phase. Older phases are less vivid and more integrated.

Rama phase: rest, order, and balance (still unfolding)

The Rama phase has just begun.

After kevala kumbhaka and small glimpses of nirvikalpa-type samādhi, this phase appeared. Rama literally means rest, āram, balance. It is not heroic drama; it is stable living after turbulence.

This phase cannot be written fully yet because it must be lived fully first. It will come as the final integration stage. Now it is up to the divinely operating world to decide how long it allows me to remain settled in this phase, though there is no doubt that personal effort also matters.

Why the world misunderstands these experiences

People see only sexuality, repression, gender, or indulgence. They do not see sublimation. That is why tantra was always kept subtle and symbolic.

I never say “I am Shiva” or “I am Krishna.” I say: that phase unfolded. Language is the thin line between wisdom and misunderstanding.

Final understanding: Sanātana Dharma is human evolution

My life has shown me that scriptures are not to be believed — they are to be lived.

They are maps of consciousness written in symbolic language. When lived, they dissolve ignorance naturally.

I am not above humanity. I am an example of how humanity evolves when sound, discipline, love, and relationships support growth.

If divine permission comes, a book will come. Until then, this blog is the nutshell — a lived proof that Sanātana Dharma is eternal because it is always happening.

Four Incarnations, Four Pillars of One Building
(Why All Paths of Sanātana Dharma Are Complementary, Not Opposing)

These four Sanātana incarnations are like the four pillars of a single building. Just as a building cannot stand if even one pillar is missing, the sense of wholeness and salvation does not feel achievable unless all these forms are embodied within a single person. This also reveals a deeper truth: the many sects and paths of Sanātana Dharma are not rivals or contradictions, but complementary forces. Even Sikhism and Jainism, which fully support Rama-like ideals of character, can be seen as sects or streams of the single Hindu civilizational tradition, rather than completely separate religions. If we expand this understanding further, even religions such as Islam and Christianity can be seen, in a broader sense, as supporting branches of the same eternal flow—so long as they uphold humanity, compassion, and moral order. In that sense, they are not completely unconnected from other dharmic streams, but participate in the same universal movement toward righteousness, truth, and human upliftment, each expressing it through its own language, symbols, and historical context. Just as the pillars together support one structure, these traditions together support one human awakening — and this is exactly how they have always functioned in living practice.

Kundalini Yoga prefers the wave nature by ignoring the particle nature from the dual nature of matter

Friends, I was telling in the previous post that black hole is the subtle body of the universe. Consider the Galaxy as its gross body, and the black hole at its center as its subtle body. Every living being is a sky, and there is a separate universe in it. All are independent and can never destroy each other. It is possible that in the same way there are countless independent gross universes in the same sky.

A man never dies

Not only I am saying this, but scientists are also expressing apprehension that man actually does not die, but after death goes into a black hole and passes through it to another universe. This is the same thing that the scriptures say that after death a man becomes a subtle body and takes a new birth. New birth is a new universe, because as many souls as many universes. Every living being is an infinite space, and the collection of thoughts and experiences in it is the whole universe. Interestingly, like the gross universe, the subtle mental universe is also created in infinite space itself, and not in the body or mind of the living being, as is often believed. The brain is just a machine for generating those virtual waves in space that space can feel within itself. In scriptures like Yogavasistha, it is explained that the soul is like the sky imprisoned inside the pot hanging in the sky. It appears to be separate only by illusion, in reality it is one with the infinite sky. Virtual waves keep on forming in the sky inside the pitcher, by which the living being is fascinated. Let me refer to the previous post that with attachment to a small part of the infinite sky, means experiencing the waves as separate from the self-sky, the whole bright self-sky feels dark in itself. Actually it is an illusion. This leads to attachment to the quantum fluctuations created by those waves too even after death, leading to the illusory darkness that I probably experienced in the astral body. It is similar to how in quantum physics, when fundamental elements are viewed in particle form, they abandon their wave-like infinite form and behave as finite particles. Meaning infinite energy becomes confined in the form of a particle. Think of it as the light of infinite space is turned off, and only finite light remains in the form of particles. Glowing particles in the dark sky. When we see them as their true ‘waves of the infinite sky‘ form, they behave that way as waves of space. Meaning that wave is luminous because the space in which it is created is itself luminous. Means the light of the entire infinite space remains on along with the light of wave. A wave made in water can be colored only if that water is also colored. If the water is black, then the wave created by it cannot be colourful. When that wave is to be felt as a particle, meaning independent of water, then the color of the basic water needs to be destroyed, but the color of the wave needs to be allowed to remain. But this is not possible. Therefore the color of the wave-medium that’s water has to be made to disappear in virtual form, ie, by creating an illusion, like a magician’s illusionary trick. That’s why even though the real form of matter is waves, they seem to be particles by illusion created by attachment and duality. It’s a simple matter. Meaning that spiritual ignorance seems to be based on quantum ignorance in physics.

Kundalini Yoga as the Varaha avatar of Lord Vishnu mythological story

Friends, in the previous post I was sharing some spiritual secrets related to nose and Ida-pingala. I remembered a mythological story related to this, so thought that in this post, let’s try to make its yoga-based revelation. It is said that in the olden days, the demon Hiranyaksha stole the earth and hid it deep inside the ocean. Distressed by this, all the gods took Brahma along with them to Lord Vishnu and obtained a promise of help from him. Only then a small pig came out of Brahma’s nose. Actually Lord Vishnu had taken the form of that boar. As soon as he saw it, it grew up and entered the sea. There he saw the demon Hiranyaksha hiding in the depths and started fighting with him. In no time, he killed Hiranyaksha and by extending both his long and sharp edged molars one at each corner of mouth forward he picked up the earth along with the Vedas and balanced the round earth on them. Then he came over the ocean and he set the earth in place. Even then Lord Varah was not getting calm. Lord Shiva pacified him by taking an avatar.

Yoga based mystical analysis of Varaha Avatar story

By meditating on the nostrils and especially on the breath coming in and out of the nostrils, the rising energy shifts to the central line that’s in the way of the Sushumna Nadi. It is said that the boar came out through the exhaled breath going out of the nasika. By paying attention to the outgoing breath, the energy descends through the front channel, and penetrates all the chakras and reaches the Muladhara. This is Varaha’s going under the sea to reach Patal Lok. Even if Muladhara is considered as an ocean instead of Patal Lok, then the lowest rung of the ocean of the world is Muladhar, because the whole world is settled in different chakras. Probably it has been called sea because the reservoir of water in the form of semen comes under Muladhar area only, where shakti is hidden as subconscious mind. Hiranyaksha means ignorance in the form of duality. Hiranya means gold, Aksha means eye. The one who has respect for gold i.e. prosperity in his eyes, and behind it who is blinded by duality, he is Hiranyaksha. Due to this, Kundalini Shakti hides in the darkness of Mooladhara, that is, it sleeps. Means the shakti of the thoughts of the mind becomes unmanifested in the form of subconscious thoughts and gets buried in the base chakra. It’s the kundalini sleeping there. Along with that mental world, the Vedas also get buried in the Muladhar, because pure and sattvaguni or light-full conducts and thoughts are in the form of Vedas. After reaching Muladhar, shakti starts turning upwards passing through the back. Shakti prefers Ida and Pingala to rise, mostly try to rise through Ida Nadi, as there is less blockage in it. Sometimes the energy starts swinging alternately in Ida and Pingala for a few moments in each. In such a situation, by keeping attention on the Ajna Chakra also, the energy stays in the Sushumna too for a few moments in between. Ida and Pingala are shown metaphorically as the two sharp teeth on both sides of Varaha’s mouth. The Sushumna Nadi or Ajna Chakra is the round earth balanced on top of those two teeth. The chakra is also round like earth. Sushumna has been called earth because all the experiences of the world take place in the brain, nowhere outside, and energy is transmitted to the brain only through the Sushumna nadi. Varah is the Kundalini-Purush i.e. meditation image. This is the meditation of Lord Vishnu. Like Vishnu, he is also shown in quadrilateral form with conch, chakra, mace, padma, one thing in each hand. That is why it is said that Lord Vishnu incarnated in the form of a boar. The boar has been chosen for the metaphor because it is the boar that digs the ground in search of its shakti hidden in the form of food in the depths. That is why the earth is dear to the boar. That’s why he even enters the sea to bring it up. In order to get the sleeping or suppressed earth or shakti in the form of mind, he gropes and digs the muladhara and carries up it with the teeth in the form of Ida and Pingala channels. Then by balancing it in the form of Sushumna, it brings it out of the water that’s nadi or channel as it also flows like water, and restores it to its original place. Its real place is the Sahasrara of the brain, because that is the center of all experiences. Sushumna Nadi also goes directly from Muladhar to Sahasrar straight up. With this, the thoughts buried in the subconscious mind start coming back to experience, and starts merging into the blissful emptiness of the Self. Means cleansing happens. Means sleeping shakti in the form of subconscious thoughts starts waking up. This is Vipassana. Vipassana can be done in any part of the brain, except the Sahasrara, as it requires less energy. In Sahasrar, only the Kundalini picture is meditated upon, which is in the form of an idol or a Guru or a transcendental body etc. This picture feels almost like a real physical form with practice, that is why it takes much more energy than Vipassana. Although it happens in Sahasrara only, but due to less energy, it appears outside. The less energy a thought has, the further away it seems from the Sahasrara. By the way, the place of the soul has been described as Sahasrar. If someone starts awakening the image of a common man in Sahasrar, then he will reach him or her automatically while walking in his sleep at night. Then how will meditation happen? Then all the gods and sages are happy and praise Lord Varah with folded hands. Anyway, the purpose of all these is to remove the living beings from the beginning less suffering in the form of birth and death, which is only possible in the Sahasrar Chakra in the form of awakening, that is why they are happy. To pacify or kill the boar by Shivji means that Yogi left the fascination of Kundalini and became a non-dual Tantrik like Shiva. Anyway, the principle is that after the awakening of the Kundalini, the non-dual tantra is the supreme understanding, which Osho Maharaj also explains to the world in the form of one of his books, “tantra- a supreme understanding “..

Kundalini is the manifestation of Lord Krishna who killed Mythological Kaliyanag in Yamuna river

Friends, yoga is a scientific method. Common people cannot understand it easily. They will practice it when they understand it. That is why the Puranas have been composed to facilitate the common public. Yoga has been explained in the Puranas as various mythic events and stories. Although being as mythological forms these stories are still theoretically true. This is so because these myths are classical and specially designed, as opposed to non classical or ordinary myths. Contrary to the thinking of some so-called modernists, they do not fall under the category of superstition. Many things cannot be said directly to avoid violations of social, personal and practical limitations, hence they have to be said as scientific myths. Yoga can be difficult to understand instantly. One has to adopt a Yogic or nondual lifestyle for a long time. That is why in Puranas, things related to yoga are presented as amusing mythology. This keeps these stories interesting for a man for a long time. With this, a man automatically becomes a yogi indirectly, and with a little extra effort, he can also become a perfect yogi if he gets a favorable situation. If everyone became a fulltime yogi together, then how would worldly work go. That is why yoga is molded as such scientific and pleasant stories, on which faith remains. Due to this, the man remains tied in the Yogic lifestyle at all times even while performing all the obligations of worldliness. One such famous story comes in the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, which describes the war between Lord Krishna and Kaliyanag. According to that legend, a huge snake named Kaliya who had hundreds of hoods lived on the island of Ramanak, with the fear of Garuda, the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. He was cursed by some saint that Lord Krishna will kill him and liberate him. Therefore, he came to the river Yamuna flowing near Vrindavan. The water of the Yamuna became poisonous due to its poison, killing the people, birds and animals around. Lord Krishna was playing ball with his grazer friends. Then his ball went into the water of Yamuna. Shri Krishna immediately leaped into the Yamuna. The next moment he was wrestling with Kaliynaag. After a lot of trouble, Shri Krishna climbed on the middle and biggest head of it. There he increased his weight and mashed his hoods. He grabbed his head and tail together and hit him here and there. In the end, he forced Kalyanag to give up. Then Kaliyanag’s wives came there and started asking Lord Krishna for his life. Srikrishna left him on the condition that he along with his family would leave the Yamuna and return to the island of Ramanak and would never enter the Yamuna again.

Kaliyanag is a symbol of the sushumna nadi or spinal cord, and Lord Shri Krishna is the symbol of Kundalini

In fact the structure of man resembles a serpent. The man’s software is made up of his central nervous system, which looks like a hood raising snake in shape. The brain and spinal cord come in it. The rest of the man’s body has been overlaid on this central nervous system. Sushumna channel runs in this central nervous system. Here the water of Yamuna river symbolizes the cerebrospinal fluid flowing around the spinal cord. Living in the island of Ramanak is a symbol of worldly indulgence. The word Ramanaka is derived from the Sanskrit word Ramanika or ramaneeya, meaning amusing. The fear of Garuda symbolizes the fear of saints. Saints do not go to the indulging places. It is seen that saints keep people away from unnecessary conflicts of worldliness. The curse of a monk means to show the right path to God by a gentleman. Saying about Kaliyanag being killed by Shri Krishna is a symbol of liberating him from the bondage of attachment. Shri Krishna sending him back to the island of Ramanak means that he should go in seclusion away from the innocent people of the world and spread poison of attachment there. Kaliyanag’s wives symbolize the ten senses. There are 5 work senses and 5 knowlege senses in them. These senses are said to be the wives of Kaliyanag because they become very powerful in the connection with the man attached to the world and become one with him. The poison of Kaliyanag signifies a attached lifestyle. It is the most powerful poison in the world. Due to this, man keeps dying in the cycle of birth and death again and again. The poison emanating from hundreds of hoods of Kaliyanag means that this attachment keeps on growing due to the hundreds of desires and worries that arise in the brain. Lord Krishna is the symbol of Kundalini here. His climb to the central hood of Kaliyanag means meditating Kundalini in the Sahasrara Chakra. Playing ball by Sri Krishna means Kundalini Yogasadhana. The ball is a symbol of pranayama here. Boy Krishna’s friend grazers symbolize various types of pranayamas and yogasanas. Breathing in and out denotes the ball going back and forth or up and down. The entry of the ball into the river means the entry of pranavayu into chakras. Sri Krishna’s leap into the river means that Kundalini also entered the chakras with pranavayu. Yamuna is the holy river in which Sri Krishna jumps. This means that the Kundalini enters only in the chakras consecrated by breathing. Mulling of the Kaliyanag by Sri Krishna means that Kundalini has curbed the mind’s unnecessary desires and concerns, and has cleaned up the ideological waste buried in the subconscious mind. The holding of Kaliyanag’s head and tail together by Sri Krishna means that the Kundalini has spread across the entire Sushumna channel from Muladhara Chakra to Sahasrara Chakra. Taking power from the Muladhar, Kundalini is shining in Sahasrara. This happens when the palate-tongue joint or Sahasrara and Muladhara are meditated together. By doing this, Kaliyanag’s banging means that the unnecessary noise of the brain is being eliminated, due to which man is moving towards eternal joy. To attempt to kill Kaliyanaag means to let the central nervous system of the body function in a controlled manner. Kaliyanag’s non-entry into the Yamuna again means that after Kundalini awakening, man never behaves indulgently.

Corona virus (covid-19) as the latest avtar/incarnation of Kundalini;  Basic outline of possible corona-mythology/corona-purana

Friends, Corona has taught to make webposts on Android phones.  This week my desktop computer also went into Lockdown.  In fact, the world has a lot to learn from Corona.  Corona has curbed the blind physical race of the people.  It has taught people how to live life.  It has given a boost to humanity.  This has provided the opportunity for nature to be healthy.  That is why we are considering Corona as an incarnation of God, because only the incarnation of God does such amazing things in such a short time.

Kundalini and God live together

Say Kundalini-avatar/incarnation or God-avatar.  It is the same thing.  Kundalini is power.  God is Shiva.  He is Advaita.  Shiva and Shakti live always together.  Advaita and Kundalini too live always together.  Everyone has become nondual due to fear of Corona.  They have learned to live happily feeling sameness in birth-death, fame-defame and happiness-sorrow.  In this way, Kundalini is dominating everywhere. Kundalini is shining everywhere.

Kundalini can incarnate in any form

The Puranas describe various incarnations of God.  God has ever attained the Matsya avatar/incarnation in fish form, sometimes the Varaha avatar/incarnation in pig form, sometimes the Kachhap avatar/incarnation in tortoise form, sometimes the haygreeva avatar/incarnation in horse form and sometimes the human incarnation.  In all incarnations, he has established true humane religion by destroying unrighteousness.  When God can incarnate as a fish, then why not as a virus (corona).  Corona virus is also destroying iniquity.

Kundalini destroying iniquity through her corona avatar

First of all, it has put a check on the gathering of religious fundamentalists who were grossly insincere in the name of religion.  This has weakened their power.  Secondly, it has smashed down the ego of those developed countries who were making weapons of mass destruction in the pride of science and technology.  Today their weapons are of no use to them, and even have become a problem for them.  The situation is that the US, which once sold weapons to the world, is spreading its hand for a drug (hydroxy chloroquine) against corona  in front of India. Third, it has served to stop the indiscriminate meat consumption by the people.  Fearing Corona has led people to leave animal violence and meat eating.

Kundalini attracts the wicked and kills them like lamps do for insects

According to reliable sources, Pakistan is getting its terrorists infected with Corona and making them infiltrate into India’s borders.  This will destroy the same.  Even in the Mohini avatar/incarnation in maiden form of Lord Vishnu, the evil demons were attracted by the beautiful Mohini Devi and thus were destroyed by Devas.

Kundalini’s hands are very long

Today’s people had lost faith in the Puranas.  They began to misinterpret the stories of the incarnations as written in the Puranas.  They were beginning to understand what the avatar of a bow and arrow or a sword-holding god would do in today’s era of missiles and nuclear bombs.  They were wondering what avatars like fish or turtles would do today.  Now Kundalini (God) has introduced such people to his avatar of Virus (not Vishnu, but vishanu/Virus), whose name is Corona.  Today, no man’s weapon is able to harm it, nor is anyone able to stop it easily. It is rightly said, “No one knows in which form Narayan/God is found”  Therefore, it is right for a man today to consider the Corona virus as a Kundalini and greet him, apologize to him for his crimes, take a lesson from him for the future, and leave the wrongdoing to start on the path of righteousness.
With lessons from Corona, people are now again believing in the Vedas.  Hope the readers have liked this brief Corona Purana.
