Kundalini yoga assisted by writing

Friends, in the previous post, I was telling that how Kundalini is hungry for love. In spiritual scriptures, even God is said to be hungry for love. Actually God has been called Kundalini there. Together I was saying that today’s generation is becoming unbalanced. They have plenty of time and resources for electronic videos, social media, and games. But there is no time and no resources for electronic books, webposts and online discussions. Leave aside their physical or paper forms, which are also necessary in their place. If these knowledge ways are of the spiritual type, then not at all. I had a chance discussion with the owner of a well-known bookseller’s shop once on this matter. The poor was saying that electronic gadgets had greatly reduced the sale of books in his shop. Still, his contentment and tolerance have to be admired for he was saying that children should be kept away from mobile phones and other electronic gadgets with great love and not by scolding. The scolding will fill them with frustration and inferiority. Better not to scold them, let them use them, they will learn for themselves. Here we are not showing anything high or low. All we are saying is that all human things are needed in a balanced quantity. Balance is yoga, balance is spirituality.

Real writer writes for himself

I always try to write for my intellectual development. A real writer writes for himself, not for others. Writing gives the brain a sort of external hard disk, to store data. By reducing the burden of the brain, it can think better. You already know how much contemplation power is needed for Kundalini Yoga. Concentrated or focused contemplation is Kundalini. Therefore If someone reads anyone’s writing it is fine, if none read then too it is fine. What other people will benefit from one’s writings from which the writer himself cannot benefit. If the world benefits along with his benefits, what can be better than that? You can assume that my writings have contributed immensely to my spiritual experiences. Many times it seems that if I had not had the habit of writing, I would not have had those experiences. Nowadays it has become a custom to exaggerate the prices of eBooks. But the truth is that they do not drain the physical resources of the author, such as paper, pen etc. Their Publishing is also available free of cost through Self Publishing. Only the intellect of the author is spent. But the intellect grows when it is spent. The value of a book is found in the form of wisdom and experience gained, then why to take another value in the form of money. It is also said that knowledge increases by spending. That’s why in older days spiritual services used to be provided at free of cost or at no profit no loss basis. Paid ebooks get very few readers. Google Play Books and PDF Drive dot net are great platforms to buy and sell free ebooks. Within the last one year, 9000 copies of my ebooks on Google Play Books have been sold for zero price. Even among these books, the best sales have been made by the books prepared by compiling all the blog posts of this website. If they had been kept at a price, may be even nine would not have been sold. I am saying this because there are paid versions of these books (at the lowest price) on another platform, where only about nine have been sold. Google Play Books was also once experimented by keeping the minimum price of books, even then only 4-5 copies were sold in two or three months. The satisfaction that a writer gets from the interest of readers to his writing is not obtained from money.

Hathyoga pradeepika is the classic treatise of hath yoga

From my previous writings, I learned this week why not to find universal proof of my spiritual experiences in the spiritual scriptures. So I started reading Swami Muktibodhananda’s Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Read more than 15% of the book in two days. I was able to read so quickly because what I have been writing from my own experiences, more or less the same was written. Along with this, due to the holiday of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, enough time was also available. There was a difference of only two or four views. If I tell that difference, then it can be assumed that you too must have read that book, because you have been reading my posts from the very beginning. I will keep telling that difference in future posts as well.

Ida and pingala channels have been depicted as god Ardhnaareeshvara

It is written in that book that the Ida Nadi rises upward through the left side of the back, but near top turns to the right and covers the right hemisphere of the brain. But I feel it going only in the left brain. Similarly the Pingala Nadi is depicted covering the right side of the lower body and the left side of the brain. But I see it going only in the right brain. The same is shown in the picture of Ardhanarishvara, according to my viewing. There it is not shown that the lower left part of the body is that of a woman and the upper left part or brain of a man. Maybe there is some more philosophical or experiential twist to this.

Spiritual accomplishments may grow too by telling to others

Another difference was that in that book it was said that the yogic accomplishments should be kept secret. I also believe that secrecy is fine up to one level, but not beyond that. When the mind is filled with awareness and one does not want to have any more experiences of momentary awakening, then it is better to make one’s awakening public. Inquisitive people get to learn a lot from this. This actually happens by itself. A man who has little money, and is not fully satisfied with it, he hides it so that others do not ask for it. But when a man has unlimited money, and his heart is filled with money, then he speaks openly about it. This happens because he knows that no matter how much someone takes, but his money is not going to run out. Even if someone takes all his money, it does not matter to him, because his mind is already filled with money. Rather, he feels the benefit, because what he does not want, he gets chased for it. By the way, in today’s scientific and intellectual society, spiritual accomplishments also increase by telling. This is because today’s educated people move ahead by taking inspiration from each other’s information. I feel that if I had not discussed my first spiritual experience openly on social media, I would not have had another awakening experience. Due to illiteracy and ignorance in the primitive age of old times, people would probably have jealousy and hatred of each other. Due to this, they would have pulled each other’s legs without taking inspiration from each other’s knowledge, only then there would have been a sway to hide the accomplishments at that time. I also found incomplete information about Kundalini. I will tell about this and more in the next post.

E-book cover Designing- a fundamental tool for successful self-publishing

Friends, if the art of sharing experiences with everyone is not learned, then those experiences would not have special significance.  Those experiences remain confined to that single man, and perish with him.  In India, there used to be a wave of spirituality.  Spiritual learning was at its peak.  But over time the tendency to share those disciplines began to stop.  There were many reasons for that, which I do not want to go into depth.  Gradually, many spiritual disciplines became extinct.  In today’s times, websites and e-books are the most important means of sharing experiences.  Therefore, it is important for everyone to have basic knowledge of website creation and self-publication.  The ebook cover is the most important part of the ebook.

It should not be forgotten that the demand for eBooks has increased due to the Corona Virus Locadown, and will increase further. Publishing houses are also offering good discount offers. Blue Hills Publication is also offering discount of more than 50℅.

EBooks should be attractive

There was a time when people used to read books without cover.  Their main purpose was the textual content of the book, not the cover.  Now the time has changed.  Nowadays people forget the text of the book in the glare of the cover.  Many times, a book of excellent quality takes a very long time to succeed due to lack of cover, while the inferior book also succeeds due to dazzling cover.  The reason for this is not that people get any special benefit from the cover of books.  The real reason is that the whole world has access to e-books.  If one lakh people out of 200 million readers also fell prey to the cover, then the book became successful.  The second reason is cheapness of e-books.  The third reason is the present-day materialism and outward view of living life.

The designing website that I found best to make a book cover

You’d be surprised that it took me 3 years to learn how to make a book cover. Canva dot com made my job a lot easier.  For 3 years, my books were supported by book covers made by KDP itself.  However those covers do not look beautiful and professional.  I made a book cover on photo editor of adobe dot com. I had to do all the work myself, such as writing text on photos and editing it as desired.  The resultant cover also did not look professional.  I pasted butterflies, flowers, etc. on the cover photo of another book.  The photo was pasted on a background plane paper at canva dot com. At that time I could not understand the full working of canva dot com. I got a chance to understand canva when I made a book cover through Blue Hills Publication for one of my books by paying 6000 INR along with getting my eBook promoted.  Seeing 8 books of my remaining lot, the publisher said that my book covers did not look professional.  Anyway, you have to lose something to get something.

How to do cover designing on canva

First create your account on the website and log in.  Go to home. Here, there will be all your previous designs created by you.  There is a custom dimension button.  In this, we can create a cover of any size (pixel length by pixel width).  This is necessary because every self-publishing platform has a different demand for eBook cover.  KDP, Kindle Direct Publishing accepts a JPG image of 2500 by 1600 pixels.  If you click on another option of ebook cover, then a smaller size cover (about 800 by 200 pixels) is created.  Its size then has to be increased with different software.  I found resizeimage dot in to be the best and easiest for this.  Clicking the option of ebook cover or custom dimension, there opens a drop down menu.  On top of that is the template button.  This opens up hundreds of designs of books.  Clicking on the template of any preferred design brings it to the working window on the right.  Pressing the upload button from the left dropdown menu will show all the photos you have uploaded.  Upload the desired photo from the computer by clicking on upload an image option.  Drag that photo from there with the left button of the mouse and drop it on the selected template in the working window.  Direct drop will paste it at a small space on the background of the template, as seen on the following book cover image in this post.  That photo can be enlarged or reduced in size.  To make that photo the background of the template, move the dragged photo here and there with the mouse over the template.  The borders of the template will be green on one position and the photo will be spread over the entire template to be highlighted as its background.  Drop that photo leaving the Mouse there.  This will make this photo as the background of the template.  However all the texts like headings, subheadings etc.; lines and boxes etc. on the template will remain the same.  You can edit all these visual elements as you want and you can also remove them.  You can also add the text of your choice. You can also change the size and texture of the text.  You can also add text to a blank space on the template where there is no text already.  All these facilities are available for free.  The visual quality of the cover design is basic.  Through paid subscription, you get chance to download the cover design that you have created in high definition quality.  In the same way, by paying money one gets a lot of good templates.

All of photo designing can be done at Canva

Logos, blog banners, Facebook posts, Instagram photos, logos, posters, cards, etc. can all be created on Canva. A blog banner is a featured image of a website’s page or post. The logo is in the form of a small circular photo at the beginning of the website or Facebook page. Photo backgrounds can also be made transparent on Canva although I think with paid subscription. Canva app is also available for mobile.

Kundalini for the development of writer’s writing art/skill, personality, experience, brain and overall health

Friends, it is easy to write, but it is not that easy to rule the hearts and minds of the readers with it. The written things should reach the needy people. If they reach out to the non-needy, then there is only harm rather than benefit from them. Non-needy people will waste only their time to read them. Many times people also take opposite meaning. This also damages the writer. The fate of a writer lies in the readers’ hands. Therefore, one should always write well. It should be written in such a way that all people benefit. If only one person can benefit from writing, then he is better than millions of casual readers. Therefore, a writer should not aspire for more readers, but should aspire to needy and capable readers. That is why in ancient times many gurus made only one man their disciple, and made him complete like him. I wrote an article on spiritual science related to medical science in my college time. Apparently, all readers were involved in medical science. Only 100-200 readers read it. I do not know what they got from that. However, I definitely guess that they were needy and capable, so they must have benefited from that. Like those readers, I was also needy and capable for that article that is why I got the benefit. This means that the author first writes for himself to satisfy his need. Later it serves the needs of the readers. If your own needs will not be fulfilled, then how will the needs of the readers be fulfilled. I got many benefits from writing that article. It changed the direction and condition of my life. My life became positive, passionate, hardworking and love-full. It seems that readers would have benefited a lot from that article. That is because the writer is a mirror of the readers. He reflects the happiness of the readers, and also the sorrow. Therefore, only good and beneficial should be written.

Kundalini stops unnecessary brain noise, which creates a new place in the brain for beneficial thoughts

By focusing on the Kundalini, the extra power of the brain is spent on the Kundalini. Due to this, the remaining power is unable to keep up with various kinds of unnecessary thoughts. Even if such thoughts are formed, they are very weak, on which the Kundalini dominates. The pause of waste thoughts creates space for new, beautiful, practical, empirical and creative ideas in the brain. When we write those thoughts, a very beautiful article is made.

Kundalini relieves the writer’s mental fatigue, which rekindles the mind’s excitement for new ideas

Writers have to resort to sharp ideas to write. Those ideas are of different types. Some are new, some are old, and some are very old. The flood of those thoughts makes the writer a bit nervous, restless, tense and confused. His hunger and thirst decreases. His blood pressure rises. He remains exhausted. He becomes a bit irritable. In that condition, Kundalini Yoga works as a lifeline for him. Kundalini refreshes him immediately, and he agrees to write a new article.

Kundalini keeps the writer’s own body healthy, which can become diseased by remaining motionless most of the time

The writer has to sit for most of the time, and then only he can write. If a man puts more of his Prana-force / life-force into dynamic works, then it will fall short for writing. Although writers keep their balance, but still have to sit a lot. At the same time, Kundalini works as a medicine for him. She maintains blood circulation on all parts of the body; because where there is a Kundalini, there is a blood circulation / vital life.

Kundalini puts an end to the blind race of searching readers, which is often followed by the writer

Kundalini curbs the spontaneity of the desires of the mind. Those desires also include an ambitious desire to gain readership. Many troubles surround the writer with such desires. Kundalini makes a man aware of advaita/non-duality and satisfies him with the life he has attained. By this, the writer also avoids the futile propagation of his writing. This allows him to focus his attention on his writing. The reader finds the type of article that he needs. All he needs is a slight hint.

The work of the readers is also brain-dominated like the writer. Therefore, they too get all these benefits from Kundalini. Similarly, people doing other mind-related or physical work also get all these benefits from Kundalini, because brain / mind is everything.
